The National Maritime Museum in Busan is based on the theme of "My Ocean, Our Future" and is divided into four parts: permanent exhibition, children's museum, 4D image gallery and outdoor exhibition. The permanent exhibition covers 8 permanent exhibition halls of nautical ships, marine historical figures, marine culture, marine industry, marine science, marine territory, marine life and marine experience, introducing all things related to the ocean. The Children's Museum helps children easily understand the sea and the environment through experience and experimental displays, animations of the Antarctic penguins returning home, and experiential activities and performances such as coastal surveys, harbor activities, and deep-sea activities with space animations. Through the application of 4D technology, 4D images bring tourists a virtual experience of the realistic ocean world. The exterior of the National Maritime Museum is a beautiful building constructed by visualizing water droplets, making it a landmark of world-class maritime Korea. In terms of size, it is the third largest building that Korea is proud of. The National Maritime Museum has a collection of more than 14,000 exhibits, allowing visitors to look at the past and peek into the future through these marine artifacts.
