You can also take a Hurtigruten ferry from another town to the local town of Honningsvag (at the same island) and then travel the remaining 33 km by bus, taxi or a car. The climate is warmer than many may expect during the winter but in the summer the heavy winds and humid cool air can astonish an unprepared tourist. At the gate of the North Cape you have two options: visit the parking and the outside areas only (free of charge in 2021 until further notice) or visit the exhibition including the panorama films and Cave of Lights.
