There are a lot of vegetarian food. There is quite a variety. But there are only 2 restaurants: Je Muey VS Krua Je Puk. These 2 restaurants are opposite each other. One restaurant has about 20 dishes. There is everything you can think of. It's hard to choose. Each dish costs about 50-60 baht. Let me tell you that the bamboo pith soup is very delicious. 😋

This is opposite the very famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. This indoor market boasts of a wide range of fresh produce & food, packed snacks and a food court where you can sample all the great local dishes. We went there mainly to buy snacks to take home. We still had other places to go to so we didn’t have extra time to eat there - perhaps next time… and also when the Covid threat subsides. This place is also clean and well-maintained. I have no basis for comparison in terms of their pricing so I cannot comment on that. We did, however, managed to buy dried fruits and the crispy pork snacks which are cheaper there than in the grocery we went to. One should also try their pork sausages on stick. We went here in 2019 before Covid hit. I know this market is still open but am not aware of the safety protocols implemented inside. I hope to visit again so I can share latest information with all of you.
