[2025 Naka Attraction] Travel Guide for Pha Ngern Silver Cliff View Point (Updated Jul)

#yearofrabbit we spent in total 4 nights in this city of Vang Vieng! this is one of the best viewpoint so far and it is also the highest peak of the city I believe. it takes around 3 hours to do the round. we went all the way up to the top viewpoint, the hike was really challenging but the view is totally worth it! there is a little hut on the top where we rested for half an hour! highly recommended

For this trip, the most impressive place for viewing the view and watching the sunset is Pha Ngern Viewpoint, Vang Vieng, Laos. Personally, I like watching the sunset very much. Most trips must have this as one of the activities in each trip. At Pha Ngern, it doesn't take long to go up. When going down, you have to exchange it for a little darkness. But it's worth it. There aren't many people because it's quite difficult to go up. It's a limestone mountain. Most mountains in Laos are limestone mountains. For those who like to climb mountains and enjoy the view, I recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. I give it a full 10.

#summervacay Pha Ngern Silver Cliff Viewpoint is one of those hikes that makes you question your life choices halfway up... but then totally rewards you at the top. Located just outside of Nong Khiaw it’s not the longest hike, but it’s steep, rocky, and definitely a sweat-fest. Bring water, for real. Once you reach the top, though? Oh man. You’re treated to a panoramic view of those classic karst mountains, the Nam Ou River winding through the valley, and endless greenery. It’s just chef’s kiss. The cliff itself is this epic slab of rock where you can perch and feel like you’re on top of Laos. Super peaceful, super scenic. Not too many people around either, which made it even better. I stayed up there way too long, just lying on a rock and soaking up the view. If you’re in Nong Khiaw and up for a bit of a climb, don’t skip this one, it’s a beauty.

🏡🪴Phupha Champalao Flower Garden🌸 is located in Vang Vieng, Laos 🇱🇦, which is about 8 kilometers from Vang Vieng city on the Chong River side, past the 🏝Blue Lagoon 1️⃣. The way there is quite rough, it is a gravel road 🛣 There is an entrance fee of about 10,000 kip. The garden is large and there is a Balinese gate 🚪 model for taking beautiful photos.
