Prague city tour 🗺️
#coupletravel
Prague is an absolute dream! Wandering through its cobblestone streets, I felt like I had stepped into a storybook. The Gothic architecture, especially the stunning Prague Castle and the iconic Charles Bridge, is breathtaking. The astronomical clock in the Old Town Square is another must-see (and it’s free to enjoy!). Entry to the castle grounds was around 250 CZK (€10), and the views of the city were well worth it. After sightseeing, I loved exploring the cozy cafés and trying local Czech dishes. Prague has a perfect mix of history, beauty, and charm! #trip #PragueWonders #CzechAdventure #CityofSpires #TravelMagic #Wanderlust

In Prague's Citywalk, the whole world seems to be singing her praises
🏰 Prague is mainly divided into: Old Town, New Town, Jewish Quarter, Lesser Town, Castle District, and Vyšehrad. The main attractions are concentrated in the Old Town and Castle District, and you can plan 1 to 3 days to explore Prague~
🏰 Old Town, it is recommended to take a day trip or combine it with New Town
📍 Old Town Square
The heart of Prague, where the song 'Prague Square' was filmed. With over 900 years of history, it's common to see performances of dancing and accordion playing
📍 Týn Church
The black spire Gothic building next to the Old Town Square, the black spires are like the devil's castle in a fairy tale world. Upon closer inspection, the black spires are also very exquisite
📍 Old Town Hall
Built in 1338, it was once a royal palace and now serves as a cultural center. You can climb the tower for a 360° panoramic view of Prague's Old Town
📍 Astronomical Clock
The astronomical clock operates from 9:00 to 21:00 every day, with the twelve apostles of Jesus appearing one by one next to the clock on the hour. The clock is still accurate to this day, but be mindful of pickpockets when watching
📍 Charles Bridge
Built in the 14th century, it is the place where Czech kings would pass during their coronation parades. Some say that you haven't really been to Prague unless you've crossed this bridge nine times. Whether it's at sunrise, sunset, or when the night falls, you can see different views of Charles Bridge. During the day, there are many artistic performances on the bridge, and you can also buy special artworks
📍 Powder Tower
A Gothic old city gate built in 1475, it is one of the important landmarks of Prague
🏰 Castle District
The castle was built in the 19th century and is also the location of the royal residence. Here you can find the essence of art from various historical periods, whether it's courtyards, streets, galleries, gardens, or churches, etc. It is recommended to spend half a day to 6 hours exploring
📍 St. Vitus Cathedral
Construction began in 1344 and took over 600 years to complete. It is Gothic in style, with Baroque elements added later. The bell tower here also offers a panoramic view of Prague, not to be missed
📍 Golden Lane
Kafka once wrote many works here, and now this alley is home to many interesting shops
📍 Old Royal Palace
Part of Prague Castle, built in the 9th century. The interior is beautifully decorated, combining a variety of architectural styles. The changing of the guard ceremony held at noon is also quite unique

Praha, the city came from the oil painting
Praha, is a must visit city if you loves art. The building was very antique and beautiful, the people (but mostly you can see are tourists) very friendly and enjoy their lifestyle with no rush. They enjoyed music, enjoyed the foods, enjoyed the moment they had.
We spent one day at the old town Prague, all within walking distance and we have the traditions Pork knuckle at Pork’s restaurant (10/10 recommend, must go!)
All the building was so historical, all of them that only appeared in my history book now became real in my eyes
So glad that I have my best time at Prague with the best people here.

The greatest ancient castle group in European history.
Prague Castle is located on the Vitava River's west bank in Prague's Petrin Hill. It is a landmark of Prague, built in the 9th century, and is the oldest and most complete ancient castle complex in European history. Originally the Bohemian royal palace, it has been continuously expanded by successive emperors, with buildings in various historical styles such as Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance. It has churches, palaces, and gardens, covering an area of 45 hectares, including one palace, three churches, and one monastery, located in three courtyards. It is still the seat of the president and national institutions.
Entering the gate of the castle is the first courtyard of Prague Castle, where there is the Baroque-style St. Vitus Church and fountain pool built by the Habsburg dynasty in 1763.
Every day starting from 9am in the morning, there is a ceremony for changing guards at every hour.
Enter the Giant's Gate, and you will find the Baroque-style Matthias Gate of the city of Budapest. This gate was built in 1614 and named after Matthias, the Emperor of the Habsburg Dynasty. The emblem of the Habsburg Dynasty is located on the top of the main entrance.
Entering the castle, the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral comes into view. St. Vitus Cathedral is the most renowned architectural treasure of Prague Castle. In addition to its rich architectural features, it is also the place where the royal family of Prague Castle was crowned and laid to rest after their passing. From the towering spires of the cathedral, the interlocking beams of the interior roof, and the flying buttresses on the outside, it is easy to recognize it as a typical Gothic-style building, with ornate decorations such as the arches on the door. Unfortunately, the cathedral is hosting an event today and cannot be visited inside. (Fortunately, we discovered that the castle ticket allows for a two-day visit, so we can come back tomorrow and make sure to visit here.)
The most surprising thing about the Old Royal Palace in Prague is that the interior decoration is almost non-existent. It's hard to imagine that this was a palace, especially when compared to the nearby St. Vitus Cathedral. It's a clear example of how in Europe, the power of the church was greater than that of the monarchy.
After leaving the old palace, I arrived at the entrance of the St. George's Convent. St. George's Convent was the first female convent in Bohemia, which was demolished and rebuilt as a military camp in the 18th century. Now it is a national art gallery, collecting Czech art works from the 14th to the 17th century. The former Bohemian kings were buried here, and the basement of the convent is the king's tomb. It is actually very exquisite and beautiful, but its brilliance is overshadowed by the huge St. Vitus Cathedral. Due to poor protection, it is severely worn.
After turning the street corner, you enter the famous Golden Lane in the Prague Castle area. But it has to be said that there are too many people, and it's hard to take any good photos because it's all just heads. The Golden Lane was actually a slum built along the city wall, and later, when alchemy was popular in Europe, some alchemists studied alchemy here and it became known as the Golden Lane. And the most famous place here is Kafka's former residence.

This is definitely a location to visit while you are in town.
If you've managed to "climb" all the stairs to the castle, the reward is a perfect view over Prague.
There are quite a few perfectly preserved buildings in the area connected to the castle and on the way up there.
The cathedral on the castle grounds is just a master piece of old craftsmanship inside and outside!#prague #境外遊 #awesomepic

On your way to the Castle, do get ready for a little bit of a climb. However, you will be rewarded throughout the journey with visually cute buildings and impressive architecture.
Once arrived at the Castle, take a moment to absorb the postcard perfect view in front of you. Not far from the Castle entrance there is a coffee shop which offers a spectacular view at the cost of a cup of coffee.
So do enjoy it and see it as a reward for your trip. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept within a hidden room inside it.

St. Vitus Cathedral
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert (Czech: metropolitní katedrála svatého Víta, Václava a Vojtěcha) is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague, the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. Until 1997, the cathedral was dedicated only to Saint Vitus, and is still commonly named only as St. Vitus Cathedral

This is the park which belongs to the #castle of #prague in the Czech Republic. Even the citybia famous with its historical sights and an architecture, it also features many green places like the park I am showing to you now. It is super nice place and you feel like you are in the forest and not in the city when you go there. It is an enjoyable place definitely!

#: Impression of the two sides of the vicissitudes of Prague (Series 2) #
Czech Republic is the first place in the world where the entire city is designated as a World Heritage Site. It has a variety of styles and charm forever. Here, cultural conflicts continue, sometimes romantic, sometimes busy, or ancient, or modern, Prague is a city that absorbs the essence of various civilizations.
The long scroll of history also unfolds on both sides of the Vltava River.
mentioned in one of the "Impressions of Prague" series, a character who is inseparable from the history of Prague - Charles IV. Keep talking about him here.
Charlie IV is not only a king, a holy Roman emperor, an outstanding politician, a philanthropist, a writer, but also a fan of art and mystical symbolism. Formerly known as Vclav, when he was seven years old, he accepted the name of the history of the Czech and even European history: Charles IV. The Czechs generally call it "the father of the country."
Charles IV created the new city of Prague, making it one of the largest cities in Europe in the mid-14th century. At the same time, the rest of the Czech Republic is also booming, such as Znojmo, which produces wine, Kutna Hora, which mines silver mines, and Karlovy Vary, a spa town.
The picture of the Prague Castle in the distance has long been the seat of the royal family of Prague and is still the residence of the president and state organs.
The ancient capital of the millennium history, there is always a yellowish memory.
After the hundreds of thousands of ups and downs of the ancient city, does it also symbolize the destiny of the nation?

Prague Castle
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Traveling alone in Eastern Europe🇨🇿Prague🇭🇺Budapest four-day trip❗️
🌟The two countries are not in the Euro zone, so you need to exchange them into local currencies in advance: Czech koruna and Hungarian forint; local prices are relatively low compared with cities in Western Europe and Northern Europe.
🌟Local public transportation, including trams and buses, extends in all directions, and taking Uber is also very convenient.

- St. George’s Basilica
- St. Vitus Cathedral
- Golden Lane
Afternoon: Have a beer at Pivovar a Restaurace Vojanův Dvůr to cool off (a bit popular, on the way down from the castle, many people come down this way, so the beer is slightly more expensive than other places)
After dinner, walk to the Old Town
- Lesser Town Bridge Tower
- The narrowest alley in Prague
- Urinating Sculptures
- Lennon Wall
- Charles Bridge
- Charles IV Statue
- Prague Astronomical Clock
- Church of Our Lady before Týn

Prague Day 2
After brunch, head to the west bank: Strahov Monastery, home to one of the most beautiful libraries
In the afternoon, visit the Jewish Quarter, which is divided into several different attractions, not in the same location, a few minutes apart. If you want to visit seriously, allow at least 2–3 hours.
After dinner, attend a concert at Mirror Chapel. Prague has many concerts designed for tourists, mainly to experience the various concert halls, which vary in size. There are performances almost every day, they are short, and there is no dress code.
Continue the city walk, visit the Dancing House, walk along the river, and stroll through the Old Town.

The Beauty of Craftsmanship at Prague Castle, Czech Republic
Inside Prague Castle, there are several buildings, and I had the chance to enter those open to tourists.
While traveling through Europe, I noticed that Europeans are skilled at glass craftsmanship and utilizing light. Personally, after seeing this place, I thought that the Czech Republic is the best at using glass and light.
The colorful light coming through the glass was unbelievably beautiful, making me want to stay there longer. Additionally, you can go to an observatory that offers a panoramic view of Prague from here, so I highly recommend visiting.

2 Golden Prague, this ancient city standing high at the crossroads of Europe, is the first place where the entire city has been recognized as a World Heritage Site. Nietzsche believed in other mysterious praises and considered it the most beautiful. The artist who lowered his head to paint on the Charles Bridge walked in groups of swans on the Tava River, walking on the stone roads of the old city area. Every step is a echo of history

Prague I: The City of a Thousand Towers and Sonnets Prague, known as the "City of a Thousand Towers", is like an ancient oil painting, charming and full of historical significance. Strolling along the cobblestone streets, experiencing the unique charm of medieval architecture. The Charles Bridge is one of the famous landmarks in Prague, spanning the Vltava River and connecting the old town and castle district. The 30 statues on the bridge tell many touching historical stories. The tide surges on the white bridge, but it appears peaceful and romantic in the morning or evening, making it the best time to take photos. Tips: Getting up early can avoid crowds, capturing the morning light can help scholars

Prague, a city like a dreamland.
It is a dazzling pearl of Europe, with ancient buildings standing like stars. Red tiles and yellow walls shine in the sun, and Gothic spires pierce the sky, as if telling sacred stories; Baroque buildings are eye-catching with their gorgeous decorations, exquisite sculptures, and complex patterns that show extreme luxury.
The Vltava River runs through the city, and the Charles Bridge is like a time link, connecting history and modernity. Every stone road here carries a story, and the streets are filled with the atmosphere of art and romance, attracting travelers from all over the world to explore. The mottled traces on those buildings are the unique marks left by time, witnessing the changes and glory of Prague.
✨Check-in:
Charles Bridge: Every statue column is a work of art, perfect for taking beautiful photos📸.
Prague Castle: Overlooking the city, every photo is a wallpaper📷.
Astronomical Clock Square: Be sure to catch the "puppet show" on the clock tower on the hour⏰, it's super fun!
John Lennon Wall: Full of graffiti, it looks super cool, a great place for photos🎨.

“Falling in Love with the Charm of Prague”
In Prague’s embrace, where rivers flow,
Through ancient streets, where whispers grow,
Cobblestones echo tales of old,
In hues of twilight, pink and gold.
The Vltava dances, a gentle guide,
As castles rise with timeless pride,
Beneath the stars, a city’s light,
A dream that wakes with each new night.
Arched bridges stand, both bold and true,
A journey’s path, a lover’s view,
From gothic spires to baroque grace,
Prague holds the heart in its embrace.
Oh, city steeped in tales and song,
Where every step feels like a throng
Of memories woven, past and new—

The Art of Light - The Beautiful Stained Glass Windows of Prague Castle Cathedral
The Prague Castle in the Czech Republic requires a ticket for entry, but I believe it's worth it! I highly recommend visiting at least once. As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by the beautiful colors streaming through the stained glass windows of the cathedral. Each window has its own unique meaning, so I suggest looking them up online before your visit.

Majestic Prague Castle – A Must-Visit Landmark
Prague Castle is an absolute gem that should be on every visitor’s list when exploring the city. The sheer size of the complex is impressive, and it offers a rich blend of history, architecture, and stunning views. From the towering St. Vitus Cathedral to the charming Golden Lane, there’s something to captivate everyone.
I especially enjoyed the intricate details in the cathedral’s stained glass windows and the panoramic view of Prague from the castle’s hilltop location. The castle grounds are well-maintained, and there’s a real sense of stepping back in time as you wander through its courtyards and gardens.
The only downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist hours, so I’d recommend visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the rush. Overall, Prague Castle is a must-see, offering a perfect mix of history, art, and breathtaking views of the city!#praguecastle
