Time Travel at Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh
During the holidays, I decided to stay at the Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh, which I had heard about for a long time. The address is 92 Rukhak Vithei Daun Penh Sangkat Wat Phnom, and the location in the city center is so convenient. It is very close to the Royal Palace, National Museum, Russian Market, and Central Market, and it takes only 20 minutes by car to the airport, which is perfect.
I was amazed by the sense of history of the hotel as soon as I arrived. The building was built in 1927, full of nostalgic style. The reception at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and there was a manager who spoke Chinese, so there was no pressure to communicate. The decoration of the lobby is very elegant, full of classical luxury atmosphere, and it feels like traveling back to the French colonial period in the early 20th century. 🏰
The room experience is also excellent, spacious, and comfortable. Our room faces the garden, the mattress is super comfortable, and the bathroom is fully equipped with modern facilities. It is so enjoyable to have a cup of coffee on the balcony every morning and then swim a few laps in the outdoor pool. The room is very well equipped, with a minibar, coffee machine, etc., and all kinds of small details are very thoughtful. 🛌☕️
Speaking of the surroundings of the hotel, it is a great place to eat and play. I recommend you try Hall of Golden Chimes, which has super delicious traditional Cambodian cuisine. Friends who like Western food should not miss 306 Wagyu Steakhouse, the steak is super tender. Namaste India is also a must-try, and the authentic Indian flavor will definitely whet your appetite. There are so many delicious and drinkable options! 🍽️
Of course, the hotel also has its shortcomings. After all, it is an old hotel, and some facilities may seem a bit old, especially the ventilation system in the room, which may need some upgrades. But this does not affect the overall check-in experience, even the greenery by the pool is well maintained. 🌿
Overall, the experience of staying at Raffles Hotel Le Royal was great. Whether you are on a business trip or traveling to Phnom Penh, this is definitely a good choice. Come here to experience the perfect blend of history and modernity! 🌟
