[2025 Reine Attraction] Travel Guide for Reinebringen (Updated Apr)

Norway's Lofoten Islands are scattered in the Norwegian Sea. It has many classic hiking routes. The first highlight is Reinebringen near Reine, which is about 450 meters high. Although it is not high, the steep mountain walls rise almost in a straight line. We hardly took a rest. In order to see the beauty of the fjord, we climbed up non-stop. Although we were panting, we still reached the top and had a bird's eye view of the magnificent fjord and the blue-green water. It was quite worth it! After I got down the mountain, I was shocked to find that my phone screen protector and lens case had been chipped and scratched by the steep stone steps!

Sailing and hiking in Lofoten was my favourite trip during 2019. I haven’t seen any landscape like this in the world and this is the one place I have promised myself to come back to again. The heart of Lofoten is Reine which you can see o this picture. It has the cutest little fishing village and amazing hikes all around it. In summer the sun doesn’t set for two months and you can be outside all the time. When I visited the Lofoten Islands last summer I went there during the midnight sun. Have you ever heard of that? It means that the sun never sets during some month in summer (may-tune). It’s definitely the best time to visit this place in my opinion. These pictures here were taken during the night on a hike I will never forget. This place is called Reinebringen. You can reach this peak by walking over 1000 stairs that have been built by Nepalese sherpas last summer. Reine & Hamny/hh in Lofoten Islands. The two most popular towns in Lofoten are Reine and Hamny, two adjacent villages. From the airbnb we stayed along the No. 10 road, we will first go to Hamny, then Reine, and finally to the southernmost town of Ou Village. When passing through Hamny, I saw a group of photographers taking pictures on the bridge. The picture of a group of seabirds gathered together, I thought it was always there. Later, I realized that some people were feeding them, so they attracted them. It is really shocking and beautiful to take this picture. If you go to Reine in the summer, it is highly recommended to climb the Reinebringen Mountain and overlook the entire Reine. Because the mountain roads are steep, they are all stone slopes, and it is not easy to go up the mountain in winter. I heard that the intersection is very hidden. I used to see pictures taken by the big god on the Internet. The scenery is super beautiful. If you have the opportunity to go again in the summer, you must experience it.
