Ruen Ros Delicious Food in Bangkok! Follow Google Maps to find a hidden gem of a lakeside restaurant
#Bangkok Food Guide
While traveling in Bangkok, I found a magical restaurant by following Google Maps to find food! Ruen Ros, located in Bang Kapi, is definitely a secret food haven for locals.
Bang Kapi is a villa area for Bangkok locals. It has two artificial lakes, and Ruen Ros is hidden by the lake. In the evening, the setting sun dyes the lake orange. The sparkling lake view matches the fresh and simple decoration of the restaurant, and every shot is a great atmosphere.
The biggest surprise here is the food! We ordered the signature stir-fried water spinach, which was full of wok flavor, salty and slightly spicy, instantly whetting our appetite; the Tom Yum Goong soup was sour and spicy, with generous portions of prawns and mushrooms; and the lemongrass grilled fish, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and paired with a special dipping sauce, it was full of Southeast Asian flavor in one bite. Every dish perfectly recreates the authentic Thai flavor and is even more amazing than the popular restaurants in tourist areas!
Because of the slightly remote location, there are almost no tourists, and the dining atmosphere is particularly quiet and comfortable. With only 200-300 baht per person, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food, which is very cost-effective! If you want to avoid the crowds and experience the slow life of Bangkok locals, remember to add this lakeside restaurant to your itinerary! Search "Ruen Ros" on Google Maps and enjoy a double feast for your taste buds and eyes!
