The National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Republic of China. It is a memorial to the ROC's National Father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and was completed in 1972. The total building area covers 29,464 square metres in an open space of 115,000 square metres. Nice building for photo shooting and the front garden can have spectacular view of Taipei 101. The star of the show at Din Tai Fung, and what they are most known for, is the iconic XiaoLongBao. While “bao” means bun, these are often called Shanghai Soup Dumplings. They are filled with a delicious hot broth in addition to pork (or pork and crab). Recommended to try other DimSum, dessert 糖水, fried rice, etc which are superb and authentic. Great service and nice ambient, hence, expects more pricey since it is a branded and iconic restaurant in Taiwan.

For those who suddenly crave barbecue but didn’t make a reservation, this spot might be worth a try as it doesn’t seem to get fully booked easily. The advantages include a spacious and bright dining area with good cleanliness. They offer 12 flavors of Häagen-Dazs and Mövenpick ice cream, as well as unlimited draft beer and wine from self-serve machines, making it a great choice for barbecue lovers who enjoy pairing their meal with drinks. However, the quality of the meat can be inconsistent. During the first visit, the brisket and belly cuts had a good amount of marbling and tenderness, but on a return visit, the same cuts were tough and hard to chew after grilling, which was disappointing. For the same price of 798, there are other options with tableside-cut steak that offer better value in terms of meat quality. This place is suitable for those who love drinking and dislike waiting in line.

TAIPEI ZOO is huge, and you can easily spend a whole day exploring all the different areas. The animals seem well cared for, and the habitats are pretty impressive. I loved the panda exhibit—definitely a highlight. It’s a great spot for families or anyone who enjoys seeing wildlife up close. Plus, the surrounding scenery is really beautiful, making it a relaxing day out. Inside the zoo there is train to hop on by paying TWD$ 5 for one way, the zoo as well setup with route for handicapped or those on wheelchair. The park provided FOC wheelchair rental.

Taipei 101 Observatory is a highly recommended place to visit for any visitor to Taipei. The observation deck on the 89th floor offers stunning 360-degree views of the city, and the building itself is an architectural marvel. The entrance fee for foreigner is about TWD$600 when u purchase on site at 5 th floor, upfront online pre booking may able to get better rate. The lift going up from 5th to 89th floor is very fast less than 35 seconds. Coming down is about 45 seconds. Total 3 floors to visit 89, 90 & 91. The floor 91 allows you to walk outdoors for 360 view, 91 floor may be closed subject to weather conditions.
