✨Who says you can’t travel on rainy days? In Tokyo, the sea of blue and purple hydrangeas during the rainy season is so beautiful that it looks like a dream scene from a Japanese drama. Any photo you take can be used as a wallpaper, and the atmosphere is so well captured!
📍Bunkyo Ward "Hakusan Shrine"
The most famous hydrangea ceiling in Tokyo! A total of 3,000 hydrangeas are in full bloom, instantly surrounding you in a dreamy sea of flowers. From June 7 to 15, 2025, the shrine will also hold a traditional festival, which will be very lively. It’s only a 3-minute walk from Baishan Metro Station, which is super convenient. There are also lighting activities on weekend nights, with warm yellow lights sprinkled on the flowers, which is extremely romantic, and the photos are beautiful, easily dominating the circle of friends 📸
📍Kamakura's three famous places
• Mingyueyuan: “Mingyueyuan Blue” is really not a joke! Large patches of blue hydrangeas bloom wantonly, as if the azure blue of the sky has been blended into the flowers. Walking along the stone path lined with hydrangeas on both sides, every frame is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless.
• Hase-dera Temple: It has a 500-meter-long hydrangea path, with 2,500 hydrangeas growing along the cliff, forming a stunning cliff flower path. There is also a super popular hydrangea pool with colorful colors. Any photo taken will amaze everyone.
• Achiujiuyuan: The cobblestone road is matched with quaint buildings, and hydrangeas are quietly blooming on both sides. The atmosphere is full of atmosphere. Walking in it, it feels like traveling back to ancient times.
Mid-to-late June is the peak period for the three famous places. Wearing beautiful kimonos to take photos will give you a high rate of success and turn you into the protagonist of a Japanese drama.
📍Imperial Palace East Garden
Encounter a rain of hydrangeas at the ruins of Edo Castle. The ancient stone walls and colorful flowers complement each other, and the heavy sense of history and the beauty of flowers blend perfectly. The point is that it is free to visit, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely great! However, it rains a lot during the rainy season, so remember to bring an umbrella. You might be able to take some romantic photos in the rain🌧️
