#grouptravel This time me and my friends came to Kimukatsu Restaurant in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kimukatsu is a Japanese Restaurant that has so many branches in Indonesia. I came to one of their branch in Jakarta, i really loved the vibes, the restaurant itself so clean and what i love the most, their staffs are so kind and prepared our foods so fast! We ordered some of their menu; their signature menu, Chicken Katsu Original Set (set menu is included Rice, Salad, Soup, and Katsu. Another menu that we ordered is Gyukatsu Cheese Set, Tamago Floss Crunchy Roll Sushi, and their new menu; Gyuniku & Katsu Set. I recommend you to try this restaurant if you came to Jakarta, the price also so reasonable. Kimukatsu has so many promos & discounts. Here is a glimpse of latest #indonesiatrip in Jakarta. I visited Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area and explored the Chinatown there with my friends. Not only the architecture that has Chinese touch, but the foods, music, and ambience also reminds you of China. Some tips to visit Chinatown PIK: ✨️ Come after 15.30 PM since the weather will be cooler. Also, many of stores just start to open in the afternoon to evening. ✨️ Although a lot of tenants wrote whether their products are halal or not, but there are some food sellers that didn't indicate it. So you'd better ask everytime you wanna try the food.

Originally I wanted to stop by there, but when I passed by and saw it, I was immediately impressed because the building was so beautifully elegant and large. I was sure that whenever I passed by, I couldn't help but turn my head. But from the outside, I knew the type of place it was, and honestly, it's not my kind of place. I went back because the first time I wanted to visit, I thought it wasn't open yet. When I returned, it still wasn't open, and even calling didn't connect at all. I was going back and forth about whether to visit or not, and after checking the menu, I finally decided to go in. Upon entering, my initial impression of this place was correct it was a bit intimidating for me but the staff were friendly, so I felt very welcomed. I ordered a mocktail, "Maracuya Smash," which contains passion fruit and torch ginger I automatically ordered it. In terms of taste, the passion fruit was dominantly tangy, but the torch ginger was still noticeable albeit subtle. I ordered one of the dessert menus, asking first if it contained alcohol, in which case I would skip it. Finally, I ordered the "Hidden Paradise," which includes torched cheesecake, lemon sorbet, peach, jelly, and some crunchy elements I don't know the name of, along with a garnish shaped like an owl. Overall, it was delicious; the cheesecake wasn't too heavy, and the lemon sorbet was very refreshing. Initially, it was poured with some brandy to melt the cotton candy, which I wasn't informed about because it had a slight bitterness. The ambiance was cool and quite cozy, actually, suitable for gatherings but with a desire for a quiet and intimate setting it's quite suitable.
