The bay also has a restaurant and bar by the cliff, still overlooking the majestic beach, as you get to unwind with the view while chewing on that bacon or vegan salad. Santiago Beach, which I visited in January 2020. As soon as I returned, COVID-19 broke out, and overseas travel became even more of a distant memory. The wide beach has fine sand, and the slope is gentle even when you go far out on the beach, so it’s safe. I hope that day will come again when I can lie down on a shaded hammock and have a green mango shake.

Guests of Santiago Bay Garden and Resort can use the restaurant alone. It is a spot where you can spend a luxurious time enjoying Filipino cuisine while looking out at the sea. Santiago White Beach is next to it, and it is a beautiful beach spot located in the southern part of Pacijan Island. It is about 30 minutes by tricycle or rental bike from Consuelo Port, and visitors are greeted by a white sand beach and a calm sea. There are resort hotels and restaurants scattered around the area, making it the perfect location for swimming and marine activities. It is also famous as a spot for beautiful sunsets, and at dusk locals and tourists gather to spend a peaceful time watching the orange sunset sink into the horizon.
