👉Yuhe Temple, also known as Yuhe Temple, is located on the west side of the south entrance of Dongbuyaqiao Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty and was dedicated to the worship of the Yuhe River. 🌈Yuhe Temple was built along the east bank of the Yuhe River. It is rectangular in shape, facing southeast, and originally consisted of two courtyards. Only the front and rear halls remain today. Yuhe Temple witnessed the dynamic development of the Grand Canal and is an important physical material for studying the Grand Canal. 👍On August 19, 2021, Yuhe Temple was announced as the ninth batch of municipal cultural relics protection units by the Beijing Municipal People's Government. 📍The ninth picture shows the stele of the Qing Dynasty's reconstruction of Yuhe Temple, which was unearthed near the site of the Yuhe Temple's mountain gate in 2007. One of the best experienced even though it was freezing and windy on that day. Shichahai is a famous scenic area in the northwest part of Beijing, which includes three lakes (Qianhai, meaning Front Sea; Houhai, meaning Back Sea, and Xihai, meaning West Sea), surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style local residences, Hutong and Courtyard. The comprehensive activity area entrance fee includes ice wagons, chair sleds, and ice bikes. Day time: 9am-6pm Price: CNY 100 (wechat only) but since we don’t have China phone number, we paid cash. Luckily we have enough cash at that time. Wish we could buy the ticket using trip.com. How to get there: Public Transport: Subway (nearest train station: Line 8 - Shichahai station, take exit C, and walk a few minutes to the rink and enjoy the view while walk.
