What to do during the day in Macau?
#ChinaTravelMoment #Macau #MacauTravel
Macau can be largely divided into the Macau Peninsula with Senado Square and Taipa Island with luxury hotels and casinos!
During the day, I recommend you to visit the Macau Peninsula, which is full of old ruins and delicious food, and Taipa Village, and in the evening, you can visit the Cotai area where you can feel the splendor of Macau itself~
If you are traveling to Hong Kong, you can easily make a day trip by ferry or bus, so if you have time,
I highly recommend you visit it👍 You can feel a different atmosphere from Hong Kong^^

Taste Macau Street Food: Taipa Food Street🇲🇴
[Trip Moment Delivery.🗞️]
On this trip, I'm going to Taipa Food Street in Macau to eat egg tarts!!✈️🇲🇴
🛄ㅣTaipa Food Street🧳
Macau is a charming travel destination where Eastern and Western cultures are in harmony, and it is also famous for its delicious food. In particular, Taipa Food Street (官也街) is known as Macau's representative gourmet street, where you can experience various local dishes and Portuguese cuisine in one place. I visited here on this trip and had an unforgettable gourmet experience by tasting Macau's representative snack, egg tarts, and authentic Portuguese cuisine!!👍
After arriving in Macau, I visited Taipa Food Street. As I walked along the narrow alleys, the fragrant and sweet smells from various restaurants stimulated my appetite. While walking along the alley and looking around several shops, I chose the representative foods that you must try in Macau~🍲
I decided to try the egg tarts that are a must-eat when you come to Macau first. The most famous egg tart shops in Macau are Lord Stow’s Bakery and Margaret’s Café e Nata. I found a shop with a decent line of people and bought a warm egg tart~
When I took a bite of the freshly baked egg tarts, the crispy pastry layer gently broke apart and the sweet and creamy custard filled my mouth. It was especially delicious when eaten warm, as the sweetness and soft texture came alive even more. I felt that the egg tarts made based on a traditional Portuguese recipe were a dessert that you must experience in Macau!🥧
After that, I looked for a restaurant to eat dinner. Macau was a region that was influenced by Portugal in the past, so there are many restaurants where you can taste traditional Portuguese cuisine. I visited a famous local restaurant and experienced Portuguese cuisine firsthand!
🍗 Galinha à Africana – Macau-style spicy chicken dish
This dish is a grilled chicken dish using a spicy African sauce, and is especially popular in Macau. The spicy and savory sauce added to the tender chicken gave it a unique taste. It was even more delicious because it had a spicy flavor that Koreans are familiar with!✌️
Taipa Food Street is not just a place to eat, but also a place where you can feel the culture and history of Macau. Walking along the narrow alleys and tasting various local foods was a great pleasure of the trip.🫠

We can do it in 3 hours in Macau!!
We stopped to change planes in Macau. Actually, we had 7 hours, but it was too cold, so we only spent 3 hours. Let's see where we went!!
• We exchanged about 100 mop in Macau money to pay for the bus fare and luggage storage (we used the remaining Taiwanese money to exchange). The first place was near the baggage claim area.
• The luggage storage area at Macau airport (we had carry-on bags, and the checked bags were picked up in Thailand). It's on the upper floor. We exited immigration, took the escalator, and turned right, following the signs. It's in the alley near the door to the train station. The storage fee is 10 mop per hour, or 80 mop per day.
• After we dropped off our luggage, we took the Macau LRT to Tipa food street because we had planned to eat the famous egg tarts from Lord Stow's Bakery (Taipa). When we bought the tickets at the automatic machine, an officer came to recommend which station to get off at. It was so cute.
• We got off at Pai Kok station. The train fare was 8 mop per person. We went down the stairs on the right side and followed the map.
• It's a street that I love very much. There are many cute shops, temples, and beautiful buildings for taking pictures. We spent about 3 hours here before heading back to the airport because the weather was very cold + strong wind + a little drizzle. We couldn't walk any further.

Strolling and eating in Taipa area 🥖
Taipa Village, an important landmark in Macau, showcases the charm of Portuguese architecture. If you come to visit, we recommend Portuguese fried pork buns, a famous shop in Taipa that has been open since 1965. The pork here is different from other places. It is juicy and not dry. The taste is well-rounded when eaten with the shop's special bread. The texture when eaten is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which goes well with the pork. This place has many famous street food shops, including the famous egg tart shop, Lord Stow's Bakery.

While looking around Taipa Village, I entered an alley and it was Taipa Food Street. Haha. There were various local foods and souvenir shops on both sides of the alley, so it was so much fun to walk around and look around! Although it's not that long, it would be good for those going to Taipa Village to take a look around and buy some snacks :)

Taipa Food Street Macau
Loved visiting Taipa Food Street so much; it is small compared to other food streets or night markets in some other parts of Asia, like Taiwan or China, but it has its own charm and an authentic Macanese culture and experience.
Ambience and culture wise, it provided a deep and charismatic contrast to the glitz and glamour of the Macau casino scene and bright night lights.
Food wise, there were so so many yummy, popular and famous local cuisines and dishes that were available. This included eggettes, egg cake, pork bun, pepper bun, michelin ice cream, beef jerky, bubble tea, Portuguese egg tarts etc. Each of them extremely delectable. There is also amazing authentic Portuguese food, a testament to and evidence of its rich colonial history and experiences.
There were also lots of souvenirs and photo spots on offer. Macau's famous Koi Kei also has an unmissable presence there. This place is a must-go in Macau.

Taipa Food Street has many restaurants, cafes, and takeaway shops. There are authentic Portuguese restaurants, popular egg tart shops, tapioca shops, and other shops where you can enjoy Macau to the fullest. The wall art is also wonderful, so it's fun to eat while walking around! There are also many Portuguese-style buildings, and time passed by in the blink of an eye when I was walking around!

Macau, you can't miss this place because there are so many Michelin-starred foods here and so many delicious things. Anyone who is looking for souvenirs or street food here has everything for you to try, including egg tarts that many people must come to eat🍳🥞
And the egg tarts here are very juicy, many people will definitely love them. Or if it's bubble milk tea, you must try the original only. Their milk is very good. It's milky with sweet pearls. It's a perfect combination🫕🫕
Anyone who comes to Macau must try Taipa Food Street. It's a place you must walk!!

SEI KEE CAFE, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Macau🥓
If you come to Hong Kong and don't try a Michelin-starred restaurant, it's like you haven't been here because Macau and Hong Kong are famous for their Michelin-starred food. This restaurant is one of them. It's a restaurant with a long line of people, so we had to try it because we couldn't resist. There were so many people that we wanted to try it. 🥨🧀
It's a restaurant that's like a juicy hamburger. And most importantly, they give you a lot. Plus, the drink is a very strong iced tea. There are actually many menus. We had to stop by and try it because there were only two of us and we couldn't finish one piece. 🍔
