[Yamagata] Totoro discovered in the middle of a rice field!
📍Osugi Cedar (Totoro Tree), Yamagata
Osugi Cedar, commonly known as the Totoro Tree, resembles Totoro from "My Neighbor Totoro" and is estimated to be 1,000 years old!! It is said that the god of fertility, called "Yamagami", is enshrined at the base of the tree, making it a power spot for praying for children. 🧡
It is famous for its resemblance to Totoro's shape, and is a designated natural monument of Sakegawa Village, Yamagata Prefecture. 💫
When you get close to the spot, you will see a sign for "Totoro Tree" on the road, and there is also a dedicated parking lot. 🚗
If you walk a little from the parking lot, you will find this tree. 🌳 (You can't see Totoro at all from the parking lot side)
The weather was great and it was great. 💓
It is in the middle of a rice field, so it may be difficult to access by public transportation.
I recommend an umbrella as a small item. ☂️✨
Please refer to the pose if you like. ♡ lol
