Mishima/Kawaguchiko Day Tour
#Mishima #Kawaguchiko #DayTour #MountFuji
Key points, key points, key points: If you have a limited budget, you can live in Mishima!
I stayed in a hotel near Mishima JR for 2 days and 2 nights.
On the first day, we went from Betsufuji City to Mishima. We dropped off our luggage and took the bus to Gotemba outlet at JR Station No. 2 bus stop - a day of shopping
Day 2: Kawaguchiko Day Trip
Attention! The best official website to book direct bus tickets in advance during peak season (SEKITORI)
Depart from Mishima Bus Stop No. 2 at 8:20 in the morning and arrive at Kawaguchiko Station in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
First, go to Zhongling Pagoda and climb the stairs to the top of the mountain to take photos and check in. Along the way, there are flowers and red leaves of Mount Fuji (as shown in the picture, the season is just right and you can take pictures of both plants). After queuing, go directly to Kawaguchiko JR Station and get off at Yoshida Station - then click on the map to see the Hikawa Watch Shop / just follow the map, the passenger line will remind you that you have arrived at the destination (a popular check-in hotspot). It is recommended to go there at dusk because the sun is too strong at noon and the street photos will be dimmed. There are check-in spots along the way back, you can choose at your own discretion (time is limited)
After returning to Lake Kawaguchi, the next attraction is Kawaguchi Sengen Shrine - Haruhakuta Sky Torii. Let's continue queuing - take the Kawaguchiko Tour Bus at the bus stop in front of the station (Red), get off at the Kawaguchiko Music Box Forest Art Museum stop (30-35 minutes), and then leave it to the map navigation. Note: Be careful when checking in. It is not recommended for people with poor physical strength or with children because the journey takes 35-45 minutes and includes a little hiking.
Arriving at the Sky Torii Gate, someone collected 200 yen for admission, but there was no time limit for clocking in.
But please take care of the passengers queuing behind you.
After checking in, wait for the return bus opposite the Downhill Museum. After returning to Kawaguchiko Station, see if there is time to visit the gift shop and then wait for the bus back to Mishima Station.
I boarded the bus at 8:20 that day and returned at 17:00. If you are not afraid of being too late on the return trip, you can wait for the next bus.
Warm reminder~ You can take great photos here. Thank you for the weather and the visibility of Mount Fuji that day.
I hope everyone can take beautiful photos of Mount Fuji~
