I flew to Bangkok to celebrate Songkran Festival and stayed at my usual happy place,The Athenee. This is my first visit to Bangkok and to Athenee post Covid but I was greeted with usual warm welcome by the staff. I also got my usual upgrade being a Bonvoy Member and got access to their luxurious facilities. The hotel was quite busy than usual due to the Festival, but that did not take away the high touch treatment they give to the guests like myself. Athenee was renovated since my last visit but one can stoll enjoy the usual luxury of a spacious bedroom with white comfortable linens, the Lagoon pool and Spa at the fourth floor, the Executive Lounge for members, and the choices of good food from their Breakfast at Rain Tree and other dining options. Athenee remains one of my favorite hotel in Bangkok. #myperfectstaycation

Today, Teacher Golf took everyone to stay at The Athenee Hotel Bangkok Hotel, a Luxury Teacher Golf used the Travel Together program to stay this time. 2 for 2. For here, Athenee, the first time, Guest room one king City View got upgraded according to the procedure. I never thought much about what room it was, but I was secretly delighted when I opened the door and saw it because I never asked the housekeeping team. Wow, how did you know that I am a cat slave? They did their homework well. I screamed. This is really impressive. And during the turndown period, there was a service to whip up bubbles. Cake was in the room and asked the housekeeper, Khun Somorn, and found out that Khun Pinij was in charge of folding clothes. She gave a small prize from Cake to the housekeeping team. And went down to swim and exercise in order. The deep pool was just right. I thought it was the Olympics. 🤣🤣🤣 There were a lot of customers. Stopped to take a picture of the garden corner in the afternoon on the 4th floor. The atmosphere of the city was covered with trees as appropriate. When I was going back to the room, the staff ran over to open the door, press the elevator, and press the floor for me. I raised my hand to say hello. I had to say hello and thank you back because it was really full. Breakfast, there was a staff to serve. I like blended vegetables and fruits with pulp and salad zone.
