Mt Coot-tha can be easily reached from Brisbane City by taxi or public transportation. There are many Mt Coot-tha trekking courses, and the level varies depending on the course. I walked 56~58 trails back and forth, and the slope was very gentle, so it was enjoyable to walk. After walking for an hour back and forth, I wanted to walk more, so I walked the Gum Trail from Mt Coot-tha Lookout to Botanic Garden for another hour. I walked from the morning after watching the sunrise, and my skin felt moisturized because I walked through the dewy mountains. I felt very refreshed because I walked in a place with good air. Mount Coot-Tha is a small mountain located about 20 minutes by car from Brisbane City. From the lookout, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over Brisbane. I took a taxi from Brisbane City around 5:30 AM in mid-August to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was a foggy day, but the sun was so intense that I could still see the sunrise clearly. The sight of the sun rising above the thick fog was truly magnificent. There were several photographers with large cameras trying to capture the sunrise view from Mount Coot-Tha. Witnessing such a beautiful sunrise in the morning made my trip to Brisbane even more fulfilling. If you want to experience a sunrise in Brisbane, I highly recommend the Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout 🌞💗

At an altitude of 226 metres above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings. There are a number of routes up the mountain that you can take, each of these clearly marked out on the park map. The paths are mostly gentle and are suitable for beginner hikers. Signs are also readily available for navigation. Along the way, you will find little spots of beauty and calm with streams flowing next to you. This is nature at its best! However, the road is winding, so you may get motion sickness, and there are few buses, so you have to catch the right time. When you get off at Mount Coot-tha Observation Deck stop, you will see the entrance right away. There is a cafe, a souvenir shop, and an observation deck. It was a bit disappointing because the weather was cloudy, but fortunately, it didn't rain. There were quite a few people who came to see the Brisbane view at the observation deck. This place where you can see the Brisbane city view! It is also close to Brisbane Airport, so it would be good to stop by at least once as part of your Brisbane travel itinerary. I sat in the seat with the best view at the observation deck cafe. It took a really long time for the coffee to come out, but it was delicious. Australian coffee is basically delicious. The bus schedule was tight so it was a bit difficult, but it was worth it! I took some pretty pictures. I think it would have been a much more impressive view if I had gone on a clear day!
