The sea breeze gently caressed my face, mixed with a faint salty taste and the fragrance of earth, making me feel extremely comfortable. I stayed at a seaside hotel, where I could enjoy the endless Black Sea and the rolling mountains in the distance just by opening the window. On the second day, I began to explore the city. The streets of Samsun are clean and tidy, with modern buildings and traditional houses complementing each other, presenting a unique urban landscape. The grave belongs to Abu Ayyub Ansari (رضي الله عنه) who was a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The serene surroundings are an ultimate peaceful and heartwarming. Recommended points: Budget per person: 135 Turkish lira (about 1,000 yen) Evaluation: The egg dish called menemen (fried eggs and tomatoes, etc., sprinkled with cheese) is delicious. It is on the outskirts of Samsun city, but it is worth going out of your way to eat it. The side dishes are also very filling. The bread warmed on the stove was very delicious. Menemen is said to be a specialty of Samsun.
