- Wat Chom Sudaram was built around 2390 as a palace of Her Royal Highness Princess Darawadi, which Her Royal Highness Princess Isarapong granted to build the temple. However, the locals prefer to call it another name, Wat Phrai Ngam. When King Chulalongkorn came to offer the Kathin robe, he graciously bestowed the new name on the temple as "Wat Chom Sudaram" in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Darawadi. He also granted the Visungkhamasima in 2404. It was officially registered as an ancient monument on September 13, 1996.
- The buildings consist of the Ubosot, which is an architectural style of brick and mortar buildings with stucco decorations on the gable of the entrance door, walls and ceilings. Inside the Ubosot, there are murals. Outside the Ubosot, there are pairs of sema leaves and twelve-sided recessed chedis. And Chinese lion statues made of stone are placed at intervals, surrounded by a glass wall.
