|Are you sure you don't want to come and see the ice waterfall in the snow? The last time I climbed Yan Yu Mountain was two years ago, this winter I came to brush the beginner's route, it's very friendly, I, a small vegetable melon, can easily walk in the lead haha
🚙The one-way car journey is about 2 hours, we took the reverse route from Liu Gou to Si Si Village, the whole journey is about 10 kilometers, with a total ascent of about 600 meters, overall it's quite relaxed
👔Clothing suggestions: quick-drying base layer + fleece + rib down jacket + hard shell storm jacket|quick-drying pants + fleece-lined soft shell storm pants|waterproof hiking shoes + thick wool socks
🎒Snow hiking equipment suggestions: ice claws (necessary), trekking poles, wool hat, waterproof fleece gloves, knee pads, thermos, outdoor seat cushion
⚠️Precautions
1. You might be stopped if you go up from Si Si Village, you can choose to take the reverse route like us
2. There is a huge, huge slippery ice slope near the ice waterfall, it should be a very steep staircase with a thick layer of ice, be careful when you walk here, it's slippery even with ice claws
3. Some places have started to thaw, and there are small puddles when you step on them, be careful
4. Overall, the experience is okay, but I don't know why there are so few people on Yan Yu Mountain, I personally think it's worth a walk haha
