If you want to enjoy a light trip near Taipei... Yingge Ceramic Village
2023.02 #TaipeiTravel_My 11th #TaiwanTravel!!
.
A sudden half-business trip, half-tour trip to #Taipei!! The third day of independent travel and the 6th day back to Korea. Since I was returning home on a 4:25 PM flight, I had some free time to explore Taipei in the morning.
.
So, I went to #Yingge (#鶯歌) to go to the last #TaipeiTravelSpot among the three places I definitely wanted to visit on this trip!! After spending some time at the main destination, Starbucks Yinggemenshi 星巴克鶯歌門市店, I entered the alley right next to the store and started looking around #Yingge Ceramics Village (#鶯歌陶瓷老街).
Actually, it was a place I had put on my must-visit list along with Sanxia 三峡 for a long time, but since it was not in downtown Taipei, it was always pushed to the back of the list... I came here because of the Starbucks store.
I stopped by on the way, but I had high expectations, so I had to buy any dishes or teacups I liked with my eyes wide open...
I don't know if it was because it was the day after the weekend, or if it had declined to the point where it no longer lived up to its former fame, but I was surprised because there was not much to see unlike what I expected.
Of course, the alley scenery with its unique retro feel was nice... If you ask me if I would come to Yingge again the next time I come to Taipei, I think I would say it would be okay for a light suburban trip.
