This time, I went to this cafe because it was so cute, both inside and out, and filled with flowers! Bancong Cafe & Restaurant, located in Hanoi's Old Quarter, is a four-story cafe, and each floor has a completely different atmosphere! Those who come for tea time are on the second floor, those who make reservations for private use are on the third floor, and those who come for meals are on the fourth floor. We only had tea, so we went to the second floor. The atmosphere on the second floor also had a Hanoi cafe feel, which was great! The flower zone we were looking for was on the third floor, so we just went to take a look around. The Highland Coffee Shop building in Hoan Kiem is currently closed as of April 29, 2025. The coffee shop on the 4th floor across the street is thriving. I thought the Highland Coffee Shop building was a landmark of Hoan Kiem, but it's too bad.

The taste of cilantro, meat, and pickles harmoniously blended inside a freshly baked baguette. And then I walked a little further and ate rice noodles at a local restaurant. The deep and clear broth and the meat were so tender that I finished a bowl in no time! The regular rice noodles we know, and the thin noodles that are usually eaten when eating bun cha, are called bun, and they are very, very thin~ So you can't believe how delicious they are when you soak them up with sweet and sour bun cha sauce!! Also, if you get tired of beef rice noodles, I recommend chicken rice noodles and rice noodles with fried fish! There were a lot of fruits that tasted a little bit delicious, but didn't taste good. And they gave me a mixture of red pepper powder and sugar, so I could dip them in it.
