Anyone who says there’s nothing fun in Zhumadian, I’m telling you, I’m upset with you! I spent three days here with my kid and completely fell in love with this small city in southern Henan. The strange mountains and unique rocks of Chaya Mountain, the ancient-style night scenery of the Royal Post Station, the grandeur of Nanhai Zen Temple, and the super cheap and delicious southern Henan cuisine— all for about 500 RMB per person for a great time.
