Created by clearing the mountain by Manabe Akikatsu, the lord of the Sabae domain, and his associates, it is a vast garden with nearby iris gardens and wisteria trellises. It has also been selected as one of Japan's 100 Historic Gardens. This garden, located in Kyoyokei, is particularly beautiful and well-maintained, even though it is small.
