2024 Barcelona Outlet Roca Village La Roca Village must-buy brands, transportation, tax refund
When you come to Barcelona and want to go shopping at Outlets, you must go to La Roca Village Outlet. There are many must-buy brands here (LOEWE, Camper, Chanel, Gucci). After using discount coupons, the price difference with domestic prices is huge. big! The price difference plus the Spanish tax rebate has no threshold. During the discount season, this place is really a good buy!
Roca Shopping Village opening hours: Monday to Sunday: 10:00-21:00
Shopping Village closing time: 1/1, 1/6, 5/1, 9/11, 12/25,12/26
The ticket I bought is to take the "La Roca Villageshopping express", which takes about 40 minutes from Barcelona Nord to La Roca Village.
Starting from July 2018, tax refunds can be made regardless of the amount, and there is no minimum threshold. Remember to bring your passport or a copy of your passport and ask for a tax refund form when checking out. Up to 15.7% of the purchase amount can be refunded.
Roca Shopping Village has a tax refund center where you can apply for tax refund in advance on site, but you still have to get a customs stamp when leaving the airport.
Summary: The shopping is not big, so you don’t need to set aside too much time. About four to five hours is enough.

🍽️☕️ Cozy Lunch at Centric Restaurant & Café, La Roca Village
After leveling up my shopping game for hours at La Roca Village in Valles Oriental (Carrer del Conductor, s/n, 08430 Santa Agnès de Malanyanes, Barcelona – open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 😍), it was finally time to refuel. Where did I head? Centric Restaurant & Café, perfectly located in the middle of all the outlet buzz.
This spot is seriously a vibe! The indoor space is mad stylish: long tables, elegant chairs, and those dreamy chandeliers bathing everything in sunlight through giant windows. It’s giving peak Euro-chic energy. But today, the weather hit that sweet spot — about 16°C with a chill breeze — so outdoor seats were a no-brainer. Imagine sitting back, comfy under the open sky, watching fellow shoppers strut by with their bags of fresh finds. It’s sooo relaxing and literally the best place to recover after walking miles hunting deals.
Now let’s talk FOOD (the main event)! I went for classic outlet fuel: fries, seafood paella, and a burger. The fries were next-level crispy, the paella packed with flavor and loads of seafood, and the burger was juicy perfection. And real talk? I was so hype to eat, I totally forgot to snap food pics 😂 — that’s how bomb it was.
Centric Restaurant & Café absolutely delivers the cozy lunch vibes you want on a shopping adventure. It’s the ideal pit stop to chill, refuel, and soak up those La Roca feels.
If you need a stylish break between racks, add Centric to your La Roca Village itinerary. Find it right at the heart of the mall. All info and bookings? Slide over to trip.com for the deets!

🛍️🇪🇸 A Shopper’s Paradise at La Roca Village — Just 25 Minutes from La Rambla
Took a quick 25-minute ride from La Rambla and landed right in shopper heaven at La Roca Village! 🛍️✨ This place is legit every brand-lover’s dream come true — and not just because of the shopping. The whole vibe here is giving European fairytale town, with modern and Western-style architecture, cute coconut trees everywhere, and poppin' autumn colors. Trust me, it’s SO not just another outlet mall.
Even on a busy weekend, the energy was totally infectious. The crowds just added to the fun, and the streets were buzzing with stylish folks ready to snatch up deals. You’ll find all the big names here: think luxury labels, chic fashion brands, and cool lifestyle stores (the Tod’s store is a total vibe, right behind where I snapped my fit pic 😎).
And OMG, the prices?! Most boutiques are throwing out 20% off everything, plus some stores have even crazier discounts if you time it with special seasonal promos. Don't sleep on the tax rebate either — you can score an extra 10–12% back, which means your shopping haul just got a whole lot sweeter!
Whether you’re on the hunt for designer bags, must-have shoes, or ready to level up your closet game, La Roca Village has your back. But even if you just want to chill and soak up the stylish outdoor atmosphere (think palm trees, autumn leaves, and cool building close-ups), this spot is a total win.
If you love big savings and insta-worthy shopping scenes, you seriously gotta check out La Roca Village next time you’re in Barcelona. Absolute must-visit for all my fellow deal-hunters and style chasers!

Sant Miquel del Fai – A Monastery Among Cliffs and Waterfalls
#mytraveldiary
Perched dramatically in the Tenes Valley near Barcelona, Sant Miquel del Fai is a unique blend of natural wonder and medieval heritage. Built into limestone cliffs in the 10th century, this former monastery is surrounded by waterfalls, caves, and rugged landscapes that give it an almost mystical aura.
⸻
Ambience & Atmosphere
As you approach, the cliffs rise steeply, with the monastery seemingly carved into the rock itself. The sound of cascading water echoes across the valley, and shaded trails lead through caves dripping with mineral formations. The harmony between architecture and nature creates an atmosphere of quiet reverence and awe.
⸻
What It Offers & Highlights
• Monastery of Sant Miquel – A Romanesque church partially built into a cave, offering a glimpse into centuries of monastic life.
• Natural Waterfalls – Streams and cascades that flow dramatically over the cliffs, most impressive after rain.
• Caves of Les Tosques & Les Tossetes – Atmospheric grottoes filled with stalactites and stalagmites.
• Panoramic Views – Sweeping sights of the valley and surrounding mountains, perfect for photography and reflection.
• Cultural Events – Occasionally hosts concerts and exhibitions, adding a modern touch to its historic charm.
⸻
Practical Info
• Location: Bigues i Riells, about 50 km from Barcelona.
• Hours: Typically open Tuesday–Sunday; closed Mondays.
• Entry Fee: Around €8–10 for adults, with reduced rates for children and seniors.
• Access: Best reached by car; parking available near the entrance. Public transport options are limited.
• Facilities: Visitor center, guided tours, picnic areas, and small cafés nearby.
⸻
Why It’s Worth Visiting
• Rare fusion of history and nature—a monastery literally embedded in the cliffs.
• Waterfalls and caves create a magical, almost otherworldly setting.
• Close to Barcelona yet feels remote and peaceful.
• Ideal for a half-day trip that combines culture, hiking, and natural scenery.
⸻
Sant Miquel del Fai is both a sanctuary of faith and a celebration of the Catalan landscape. With its waterfalls, caves, and cliffside monastery, it offers a truly enchanting escape just beyond Barcelona.

Barcelona Plaza de España, Joan Miró Park Review – A place where you can feel the breath of the city and art
#JuneTravelSupport
🏛️ 1. Plaça d’Espanya
A large plaza built for the 1929 International Exposition, it is Barcelona’s main transportation and cultural hub with an area of approximately 34,000㎡. .
The grand fountain in the center, the Venetian Towers, and the MNAC (National Art Museum of Catalonia) building in the background create a spectacular sight just by looking at it.
Recommended time: If you go early in the morning or at sunset, you can enjoy a more romantic and photogenic atmosphere.
⸻
🎨 2. Parc de Joan Miró
It is an art and green space in the city center that was created by redeveloping the Slaughterhouse site in 1983. . At the heart of the park stands the famous work of Miro, **‘Dona i Ocell’ (Woman and Bird, 22m)**, standing tall over a tranquil pond. . The surrounding area is a pink, palm tree, and oak forest, a table-type game area, a children’s playground, a bar, and other diverse facilities, making it a place of relaxation for locals.
It is a particularly good place for taking pictures or taking a leisurely walk, as nature and plastic art are in harmony.

Barcelona F1 Grabd Prix via Alicante
My dentist is in Alicante and so before heading for Barcelona for the weekend my son and I both had a check up.
it's also far cheaper and more of an adventure to fly into Alicante and drive up to Barcelona than fly in and out if Barcelona for that weekend.
Had a fantastic time and was lucky with the weather.#F1 Grand Prix

La Roca Village
La Roca Village s/n, 08430 Santa Agnès de Malanyanes, Barcelona, Spain
This summer, I was fortunate enough to visit Barcelona. ❤️
Barcelona is not only known for its beautiful beaches, Gaudí architecture, and tall palm trees but also for the charming and delightful La Roca Village, part of the Bicester Village shopping collection. Every store in the shopping village has hand sanitizer at the entrance, making it a very reassuring place to shop.
You can find green tables and chairs everywhere, complemented by the towering palm trees in the new area, all under a bright blue sky, creating a perfect vacation vibe! After some shopping, you can enjoy a delicious Spanish paella at a restaurant or sip on a refreshing lemonade, which is light and not greasy, allowing you to truly experience the essence of Spain.
If you’re in the mood for ice cream, you can discover an Instagram-worthy outdoor ice cream cart nearby, where you can choose a scoop of vanilla and coffee-flavored ice cream. The overwhelming happiness it brings will make you love this place even more!

Christmas Shopping At La Roca Village
#christmas2023
We were holidaying in Barcelona Spain and took the chance to do some shopping at La Roca Village too. It was the Christmas festive season and thus the place was decorated beautifully with the Christmas theme. I also got into some Christmas shopping, buying gifts for my wife and my family. They were happy to receive the gifts when I got back to Singapore.
