All Moments About Shimotsuma
[Taiho Hachiman Shrine]
The oldest Hachiman Shrine in Kanto, located in Shimotsuma, Ibaraki Prefecture.
[Benefits] Taiho Hachiman Shrine is known for bringing good fortune, and is especially famous as a place to pray for winning the lottery (Lotto and Numbers are also accepted).
The photo was taken during Golden Week. It was crowded, but it was a hidden gem. And the trees were very beautiful.
[Heavy and light stone] The stone itself is nothing special, but before and after the visit, it feels lighter than before. You feel energized, as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders.
[Milk ginkgo] The large sacred ginkgo tree is called the milk ginkgo, and it is said that touching the area around the breasts will improve breast milk production.
[Access]
3 minutes walk from Taiho Station on the Kanto Railway Jōsō Line
40 minutes from Yawara Interchange on the Joban Expressway
[Address] 667 Taiho, Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture

[Ibaraki Prefecture] Kokaigawa Park
Spectacular cosmos: mid-October to mid-November
Kokaigawa Fureai Park in Ibaraki Prefecture
The combination of cosmos and the morning sun creates a fantastic landscape.
There was a lot of fog on the day we took the photos, so we were able to enjoy an even more fantastic atmosphere.
You can take photos with different atmospheres depending on the time of day.
I was impressed to see Mount Tsukuba standing there as well.
The cosmos blooming on the vast grounds are wonderful, so please come and visit us at least once.

#Gourmet It's located near Shimotsuma Aeon, where National Route 294 and National Route 125 intersect in Ibaraki Prefecture. I recommend the seared pork soy sauce ramen, with tender pork, fragrant soy sauce soup, and accented with radish sprouts. I've been coming here for over 15 years and never get bored. They also have the super spicy Devil Dragon Ramen. I work overseas, but whenever I come back to Japan, I always eat the seared pork ramen. Please give it a try.

Sanuma Regional Park

Visited in winter. Was amazed with the beautiful scenery across the bridge. I bet this park is soo beautiful in spring and autumn. Will come back for another visit. This is a rare Y-shaped bridge that spans a sandy marsh, with a symbolic bronze statue placed in the center. There are speakers embedded in the surrounding rocks that play nursery rhymes. There is a promenade of approximately 6 km in length around the sand marsh. There were many people taking a walk.

Daiho Hachiman Shrine
Daiho Hachiman Shrine is a small shrine with a long history in Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is a sacred place for those who wish to pray for good luck regarding the lottery. In the summer, there is a wind chime festival that is very cute and no less grand than the shrine in Kawagoe. All the wind chimes are handmade by elementary school students in Shimotsuma City. It feels very cute and warm. Listening to the sound of the wind chimes as the wind blows helps relieve the heat of the summer.
How to get there - It may be a bit difficult to get to. If you don't have a car, the shrine is about 20 minutes from Shimotsuma Station. If you are visiting Nikko or Mt. Tsukuba, you should stop by.
Score -9 out of 10 because it is a bit difficult to get to. But if you are passing by, don't miss it.
