Famously beautiful and very popular but if you get out early while others are asleep you will be rewarded, finding empty beaches to watch the sea rolling in and have a peaceful start to your day. Then have a walk around finding little empty alleys leading to old fisherman’s lofts and cottages before the crowds arrive. As night drawers in and after the dinner rush has passed, you can sit looking over the bobbing boats in the harbour and treat yourself to dessert and a glass of something special #waves #holidays

St Ives was a great place to visit on our holiday. We went for the day and used the train to get there. The Station is practically next to the beach so it wasn't difficult to find. We walked 5 mins and we were there. We took our own food but there was a cafe that had lots of choice but watch out for the seagulls as they are keen to share.
