The park also has a semicircular stepped platform. Sitting on the mountain and looking at the beautiful scenery of the lake and the traffic below is a very good place to rest and relax. If you are lucky in winter, you can also see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. At the foot of the mountain where Tateishi Park is located, there is also a historic Te-naga Shrine, which is very quiet between residential areas and schools. I stayed at Shinyu for two nights, right in front of Lake Suwa! The service was very polite and I had a comfortable stay. Next to the check-in counter is a lounge where you can enjoy a welcome drink. In the evening, you can see a beautiful sunset and the lake from your room! It's soothing. There is already boiled water in the room, so you can make tea and relax. The sweets were also very delicious! This time, I didn't have any plans, but there is a free sightseeing bus that goes around the four Suwa Taisha shrines, so I took that for sightseeing.
