After chasing trains in Akita, we still wanted more. In Aizu, we decided to try again, with Xiao Xu as our guide. The Aizu Line connects Aizu-Wakamatsu Station in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, and Koide Station in Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture. The line is 135.2 km long. It has been rated as the most romantic railway line in winter and the most beautiful railway line for autumn leaves. We went in summer, and the line was surrounded by greenery. It was cool and pleasant, making it an excellent summer resort. We chased ten trains in total. I can't remember the names of each train, but I do remember that they arrived on time to the second. Xiao Xu is indeed the top train chaser in the northeast. He "wanders" on this line almost every weekend. When he's in a good mood, he even acts as a free guide for tourists who are chasing trains. In addition to the mainstream shooting points, Xiao Xu also found an exclusive shooting point. We walked through a forest and came to a cliff. There was a railway bridge in the distance. Five minutes later, a train passed by. It was a strange feeling, like waiting for a lover you haven't seen for a long time. You're both nervous and excited. When you see them, you're overjoyed. But after a brief reunion, you have to part again. It's a bittersweet feeling. Why do we like to shoot trains passing over bridges? Is it because of the train or the bridge? The bridge connects two unknown worlds. The train passes by in a few short seconds, like a time machine traveling between the past, present, and future. In those few seconds, we can let our imaginations run wild. So I used my camera to capture this exciting moment. I chased trains in Aizu. If life were only as it was at first...
