I was very kindly invited to @shinsen.co.uk last week to try some of the amazing food that they have to offer. Japanese food is always something that in my head I don’t like the idea of as I’m not a fan of sushi, however they have so many amazing things to choose from that even if you don’t like sushi you’ll most likely be able to find something that you like!
I went for the Teriyaki Salmon and it was incredible! My friend got the Cucumber Maki and the Chicken Katsu Rolls which she said were both super tasty and she would recommend them. We also shared the Chicken Karaage which was delicious! The portion sizes are also very generous and it’s good value for money. To finish we shared Chocolate Ganache Mochi. The whole meal was so good, we even got to have it outside as the weather was nice. It’s definitely worth a visit, I’d recommend booking ahead of time though as they are quite a small restaurant but they offer takeaway and delivery as well.

Chiang Rai food and attractions were amazing. We started of with a morning tour to the Elephant Sanctuary and we fed and bathed the elephants. This experience was really amazing as it’s the first time I’m up close with elephants.
Next we headed to Chinatown to try out the famous bird nest with comes with egg, ginkgo nuts and honey. It was a pretty amazing pairing and it tastes so good! ☺️
Next we headed to a mall to try out a Japan restaurant and I ordered the chicken Katsu curry rice. It tasted not too bad (:
Lastly, we finished of the day by enjoying soufflé pancakes as the dessert. Yummy!
