Just a normal day to Zoo Negara Malaysia
Imagine visiting Malaysia's Zoo Negara, a remarkable wildlife haven just outside Kuala Lumpur. It's a sanctuary that stands as a testament to Malaysia's commitment to conservation and education.
During my visit, I had the incredible opportunity to see a diverse array of animals, including the majestic Malayan tigers, playful orangutans, and even the adorable giant pandas. The zoo's enclosures are thoughtfully designed to mimic natural habitats, offering these creatures space and comfort.
Zoo Negara excels in its educational efforts, with informative exhibits and passionate staff. It's a fantastic place for families, providing children with the chance to get up close to wildlife and learn about conservation.
The zoo's commitment to protecting endangered species is inspiring, and it actively participates in breeding and rehabilitation programs.
In summary, Zoo Negara is a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts, families, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of the animal kingdom. It's a place that combines education, conservation, and unforgettable animal encounters, including pandas, tigers, giraffes, and more.#zoonegara #panda #beautifulday
So many cute Pandas!
Besides the Panda base in Chengdu, this spot is another great option to learn about the Pandas! The Wolong Giant Panda base is in a very nice and green environment inside the mountains and less known than the Chengdu one. Next to it are also some hiking routes.
Just a 90 minutes to two hours drive from Downtown Chengdu, it's still in a reachable distance.
🐼 There are more than 50 Pandas in the station! Also, there is a nice museum!
🎟️ Tickets are about 80RMB per person.
🅿️ Parking is available.

Coloane Village and Hac Sa Beach provided a peaceful retreat, allowing me to unwind amidst scenic landscapes and absorb the island's laid-back ambiance. The Chapel of St. Francis Xavier in Coloane added a touch of history and spirituality to my cultural exploration.
A-Ma Temple, a gem of Chinese architecture, provided a glimpse into Macau's spiritual roots, inviting contemplation and reverence. The blend of tradition and ancient rituals made it a truly enriching visit.
Adding to the allure of my trip, Macau Tower stood tall as a beacon of modernity. The adrenaline rush from the Skywalk, as well as the delightful dining experience at the revolving restaurant, made my visit exhilarating and unforgettable.

Panda Breeding Center in Dujiangyan! 🇨🇳
#timetotravel
I have been to the Giant Panda Research Center Base in Chengdu twice but it doesn't stop me from visiting the one in Dujiangyan as well. I mean, who doesn't want to see these gentle giants? I certainly do. I feel like no matter how many times I get to see the pandas I will still feel very excited and happy! One day, I want to try their volunteer program as I want to get closer to the pandas and understand them more and the way how they live. Now that would be an even more amazing experience! Enjoy your visit to the pandas!

Panda in Beijing Zoo
we went out on a sunny winter day to see if the Panda was outside. We were not disappointed. Usually there is one outside and if you stay for 10-20 min you can see them move around. We had struggles to find parking near the zoo but the crowd inside was not that bad. Lot of the animals are inside this time of year but to see the pandas is worth a trip. The tigers was out as well. #china #beijingzoo #panda #nationalpark #themepark

Chengdu Panda and city day
Panda day was amazing 🐼😁
It was easy to book a taxi from the hotel to the south gate, its closer to the panda section.
It was good to get there early to avoid the crowds, it was worth it to see the panda eating breakfast (8:30 to 10am). Plus, buy the half day ticket there.
Walking around was easy, just follow the signs and you can see the pandas better. After get the tour bus to take you through the park to the other side of the park and see the other views.
At the North Gate there are buses which can take you back to city center.

Best of Both Worlds
I love amusement rides. Put in an aquarium in there too and I can't help but feel like a kid. Ocean Park Hong Kong combines these interests in a theme park where you can get an adrenaline rush trying rides or simply marvel at animals housed in the park. It's the closest that I got to several creatures that I wouldn't see in my home country like the panda, seals, penguins, and rare monkeys. I'm glad we went in as early as we could and stayed for as long as the park allowed as there was so much to explore inside. The visit was full of highlights and one I cherish is how we would just sit right by the aquariums when we needed some time to rest, but it also felt like time spent admiring what Ocean Park Hong Kong has to offer. #hongkong #oceanpark #panda #penguins #themepark

The Panda Kai Kai & Jia Jia Enclosure
The river safari had a very well known enclosure and its well talked about when visiting the river wonders at river safari.
The Panda enclosure that contains kai kai and jia jia and also the cute fluffy red pandas. These 2 animals are endangered in the wild and have to be kept in their habitat at a temperature of 19 - 22 degree Celsius. You will be able to see the red panda at a close up where at times you will see it climbing above your head.
Sadly, during our visit we were not able to see the pandas as we were told that they were feeling under the weather therefore wasn't fit for human viewing. And recently, these 2 pandas has also given birth to a cutie little panda called Le Le. Do drop by their enclosure, maybe you might have more luck in seeing them, these 2 pandas are indeed adorable. Also, there are alot of merchandises that showcases these 2 pandas, from bags, cups and even soft toys, this is definitely not to be missed when visiting river safari.

The biggest Panda Base in the World
Chengdu Research Bade of Giant Panda is the biggest research and breeding station for Pandas in the world. Many pandas 🐼 were born here and it is one of the key places for survival of Panda.
For visitors it's mainly like a big zoo for Giant Panda and the smaller Red Panda. You can see babies sometimes and about 30 to 50 pandas. They have quite huge space, so it's even interesting for people who usually don't like zoos.
🕜 Time is important! Pandas often sleep during the noon hours, so better come in the early morning...
🎟️ A ticket for the Panda station is about 30 to 50RMB.
🚇 It's in the north of Chengdu. Many bus lines drive to the entrance directly.

Tianjin Zoo is a good place to play, enjoy the presence of these amazing animals and have a little rest.
All the animals are interesting and pretty in their own way. But my favorite part was seeing this funny ostrich and fluffy panda. They were extremely cute🥹❤️

River Wonders
River Wonders
80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
River Wonders formerly known as River safari. This place is a river wildlife theme park. Some of the items to bring : Mosquito repellent, lots of water, snacks, mini fan, umbrella. There wasn't much food option on the day we went. The fast food there was closed. The restaurant there was packed. We bought some snacks and Slushies from the food cart. The slushies were diluted and overpriced. Not much ice cream option also. It was quite a warm day so prepare to bring your own drinks.
As for the highlight, the amazon River quest is one of their popular attraction. You can spot animals like Jaguar and anteater. I think there's flamingo too along the way. Another attraction is the giant panda. Overall its a fun trip but do expect to do plenty of walking. Enjoy the scenery and learn the different species of animals.

SEEING PANDA FOR THE FIRST TIME!- Macau
Who wouldn’t get excited when you’re about to see the cutest animal in the whole world the “PANDA”. My family and I truely enjoyed our adventure and delighted to see the cutest giant panda in Macao.
Visiting Macao Giant Panda Pavilion should be one of your bucket list when touring in Macau, the place is very accesible via bus or even taxi. Though prepare yourself coz it’s a quite long ride, but what’s a long ride when you get a glimpse of the cuteness of the Panda.
Getting There - You can take bus 21A, 26A and even 25 in Praca Amaral station. Note that bus 25 and 21A are much faster than 26a (due to its different route) and go down in Seak Pai Van Park stop

Mama Panda Kitchen
With Baby Le Le approaching his 1 year-old milestone soon, we feel it’s a good time to see him up close again at his home, the Giant Panda Forest in River Wonders.
Went on an uneventful weekend and it isn’t crowded. Feel so nice. With the relaxed Covid distancing measures, this time we need not be in our masks when outdoors. What a good respite. As we visited River Wonders a few months ago, we decided not to view the other animals but head straight to the panda’s home. Partly also due to the hot weather, the aircon in the Giant Panda Forest is itself a huge attraction. Haha.
Looks like Le Le doesn’t like the heat too much too and he keeps sleeping in his den unwilling to come out to explore even during his meals time. So we only get to see over the screen. However papa Kai Kai is out exploring the enclosure. He was chewing his favourite bamboo and pooped after that. Then followed by his afternoon nap. What a relaxing position he is in. Since all were happily sleeping, we decided this is not the day and left.
We went to rest in aircon comfort and ordered some nice panda burger and coffee at the Mama Panda Café. Pleasantly surprised that they have the impossible (plant-based) burger. So there’s another option now for vegetarians.
We #mustvisit again and on the next trip, we will have to go in the morning. Will get the tickets from Trip.com then and hopefully with some good promotions.

Panda Panda Panda Panda Panda 🐼
Coming from Africa, where we don’t have Pandas, I was so excited to be visiting the research base. It was going to be my first time seeing a live Panda and I must tell you, it was totally an amazing experience. They are so cute & chubby 🐼 I remember talking to one of the caretakers and she said that Pandas are very interesting animals, very naughty too. I learnt a lot during this trip, and as I was with my family, we had fun together. One person even joked that Pandas are proof that you can eat veggies but still get fat. Pandas eat a lot of bamboo. Their white & black fur is very soft. If you are big on educational trips with free entertainment from the pandas then definitely this is a trip worth taking.
The place gets a lot of people during weekends & holidays so I recommend one goes during the week. It’s always good to pack a bottle of water and some snacks as there is a lot of ground to cover once inside. Due to China’s good transport system, it’s very convenient to get to the location by either mode of transport. Tickets are cheaper if you are student! Hope you have a good trip in Chengdu. #gthatguy1 #chengdu #panda #travel #chinatravel #tourismchina
Dengsheng Panda Valley in Aba (Sichuan)
Dengshenggou (Dengsheng Valley 🏞️) is located in the Wolong Nature Reserve, on the edge of the western Sichuan plateau. Forests and alpine meadows are paradise for the national treasure giant pandas 🐼, some wild pandas life in the area, although you won't see them. Dengsheng Valley entrance is on 2800 meters above sea level.
🎫 Dengshenggou is still undeveloped, there are no tickets but there is an environmental protection fee of 30 yuan per person if you want to go in. Here is more quiet than other touristic parks in Aba.
🚗 You can only reach the valley-park by car, it's on the 'China panda road' in West-Sichuan, enter '邓生沟' in your navigation system.

Cute Pandalicious Lunch
Just outside the Giant Panda Forest is the Mama Panda Kitchen restaurant which sells Panda related Chinese menu. From the outside, you can see some of the menu items which include the cute Panda Bao, Panda Gua Bao, Giant Panda Cappuccino and more.
The interior of the restaurant was decorated with a cute Panda feature wall with cute Panda furniture on the right, while the left are normal tables with lots of Panda photos on the wall. There are also some other Chinese dishes such as La Mian, dumplings. Some western items like Fries, and kids meals are also available.
Serving wise is quite big for me and I didn't expect the Gua Bao to be so big in size. The fries are also the "healthier" ones as in I feel they did not add salt. A small portion of salad is also available. The cappuccino is quite normal and not very sweet (you are supposed to add sugar yourself, but I didn't add any). Overall, for the price, I feel that it's quite ok (I'm one who prefer not so strong taste as I had read reviews saying taste wise bland).

Giant Panda Forest 🐼
Address: 80 Mandai Lake Rd, Singapore 729826
The Giant Panda Forest in River Wonders Singapore, is currently the largest panda exhibit (total around 1500 square meters) in Southeast Asia. There, you can find the Giant Panda, Kai Kai, Jia Jia, and the Singapore-born panda cub, Le Le. There's also the Red Panda in the same enclosure area as well.
I finally got to see Le Le today, after months of looking at videos. However, it seems to like the tree so much that it's stuck up there throughout my visit. 😂 Le Le also likes sleeping up there, and was half the time asleep up on the tree. Jia Jia was moving around and eating, and at one point, looking at the cub before retreating inside by herself. As for Kai Kai, he was also just eating when I was there.
Well, I will love more to see Le Le running around, playing with the mum, but I guess I just have to make do with the videos on Facebook on the various antics of Le Le. However, overall, it's still a satisfying trip as at least I got to see all the pandas outside.

Family outing to the new River Wonders!
Good experience but the weather is hot. Drink a lot of water and bring along some snacks as food inside are relatively expensive.
There is a lot of renovation going on outside the vicinity as they are trying to revamp the entire area to incorporate the Bird's Park as well if I am not wrong.
It will be easier to travel there if you drive or take a cab as there is limited bus services there.
As usual the most popular highlight of the attraction is none other than Panda Jia Jia, Kai Kai and their newborn Le Le. Although we didn't get to see Le Le but at least we managed to see her via the TV.
Overall, it is a nice place to visit to have some good family time.

Get on the wild side at the Zoo
A trip to the Singapore Zoo is always exciting! Learn more about the various animal species while getting in those steps as you trek all over the Zoo.
While they paused some of the shows such as the elephant one, you can still catch the sea lion in action. The show is not all about entertainment only, as they got the sea lion to teach us (and the kids) the importance of not throwing waste in the ocean and recycling where possible! #environmentalsustainability guys!!
Not forgetting a visit to the nearby River Wonders to see our resident pandas! Only got to see Kai Kai so will have to try again next time! 😉
