Roaming Seoul: Exploring Soul of SoKor 🥰
#timetotravel
During my trip to Seoul, South Korea, I had an amazing time exploring the city and immersing myself in its culture. Here are some recommendations and tips based on my personal experience:
1. Visit Traditional Palaces: Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace are must-visit attractions. Consider joining a guided tour to learn about their historical significance.
2. Explore Insadong: This neighborhood is known for its art galleries, traditional tea houses, and antique shops. Don't miss the chance to try traditional Korean tea and browse unique souvenirs.
3. Enjoy Street Food: Seoul is a food lover's paradise. Try street food delicacies like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), hotteok (sweet pancakes), and mandu (dumplings) at the vibrant Gwangjang Market.
4. Shop at Myeongdong: This bustling shopping district offers a wide range of local and international brands. Don't forget to explore underground shopping centers for great deals.
5. Discover Bukchon Hanok Village: Wander through the narrow streets lined with traditional Korean houses (hanoks) and soak in the charming atmosphere. Some hanoks even offer cultural experiences.
6. Experience a Hanbok: Rent a hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village. It's a fantastic way to embrace Korean culture and capture memorable photos.
7. Attend a Traditional Performance: Check out Nanta or a traditional Korean music and dance performance like B-boy Kung Festival. These shows offer a glimpse into Korea's rich performing arts scene.
8. Take a Day Trip to the DMZ: Consider visiting the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to gain insights into the Korean War and the division between North and South Korea. Book a guided tour for a comprehensive experience.
9. Relax at a Jimjilbang: These Korean bathhouses are perfect for unwinding. Enjoy various hot and cold baths, saunas, and even get a scrub massage for a rejuvenating experience.
10. Use Public Transportation: Seoul's subway and bus systems are efficient and well-connected. Purchase a T-Money card for convenient travel and make use of smartphone apps for navigation.
Remember to be respectful of local customs, such as bowing when greeting, and try to learn a few basic Korean phrases. Enjoy your trip to Seoul and have a fantastic time exploring all the city has to offer! #travelling #travelguide #travelinspiration #trip #instatravel #seoul #southkorea #seoultravel #timetotravel #goodfoods #asia #asiatrip #mytripvlog #travel #travelphotography

Small Shanghai in Gangnam Seoul🗼🗼🗼
The most unexpected thing I found in Seoul during my food trip in Seoul was the huge painting of Shanghai in one of the oldest beef noodle soup restaurant.
All interior is decorated with oil painting, full height from the floor up to the ceiling.
About food: it’s amazing!!!! Super fresh and tender beef with local veggies cooked in front of you. Cold nanmian is the best dish for hot summer, refreshing and tasty.
And the last step of food craving here was adding bowl of rice and fry it with leftovers. Delicious 🤤!!!!

Egg tarts Paradise 🤗🤗🤗
This coffeeshop is located 5 min walking from Sinsa Subway station in Seoul. Super romantic and cute cafe with French street vibe.
I counted 10 different types of egg tarts when I visited it but they have more. If you don’t like sweet ones, they make amazing cheese tarts. Coffee is also very descent and refreshing on sunny days.
During lunch time cafe is a little bit busy but if you come around 11 am when they just open doors for customers- u will get the freshest Coffee with dessert ☕️ 🍮 #eggtarts #Eggtart #Seoul #seoultravel #seoulcafe #coffeeshop #coffeelover
Luxurious nights at Four Seasons in Seoul
We had two amazing nights here on my last trip to this mega city. With direct flights from Beijing I reached Seoul in an 1.5 hours flight.
🚇 you can easily get to the hotel by Subway as it is just a few hundred meters from Gwanghwamun.
It was just so nice to be pampered in luxury right in the middle of Seoul’s heart ❤️
🧖♀️We did of course try the Korean sauna with their three different baths with cold, hot and hotter water. The sauna room and the steamer room as well as the scrubbing room and showers they even have rooms for taking a nap. Lovely experience much similar to what we have tried in Japan before.
🍳🥞🍩 the breakfast was amazing maybe the best hotel breakfast spread experience ever.. the first morning we spent more than an hour just enjoying all they had to offer.. the staff was generous on the coffee and had some amazing freshly pressed juices.. we had one Sunday morning and one Monday morning and needless to say that the weekend had more options however the Monday options was pretty good as well.
🛒 just across the street from the hotel there was a little supermarket excellent for snacks and drinks
🍗🍻 also just across the street next to the supermarket there was a chicken and beer place that we found to be really amazing

Place to visit in Korea (Bongeunsa Temple)
One if the tourist attractions in Seoul is Bongeunsa Temple. You can take underground train there and the temple is located near the station.
The temple is very huge and you can walk to the mountain top. The mountain surrounded by beautiful natural even it is in the city. The architecture inside is traditional style.
The most attractive is a white big buddha statute. Even the temple located in the busy city but inside is quiet. There are a lot of Buddhism go there for praying.
I really enjoy this land mark in Seoul!

Quiet bookshop near Gyeongbukgung Palace
One would hardly notice this little book shop tucked in the corner near Gyeongbukbung Palace and Beomgungsa Temple in Seoul. Not easy to miss since it's housed in the building of Daehan Publication Culture Hall. It's called Seoul Selection. They have a wide range of Korean books - in both korean language and translated versions - English, German, etc. The one manning the register can also help in finding books that you need.

Foodies Paradise - Gwangjang Market 🇰🇷
Come with an empty stomach! Walk through the market and snack on all the yummy foods Korea has to offer. We tried fish cakes served in a cup of warm hearty broth, fried chicken, hotteok (fried dough filled with brown sugar and nuts), the Netflix famous hand cut noodles and mandu (dumplings), live octopus, raw beef with Asian pear, gimbap filled with delicious fillings and the famous doughnuts coated in cinnamon sugar, with a waiting line of 20min - 1 hour. All absolutely worth it, and absolutely delicious! #foodie #tripblazers #seouleats #seoultravel
Meet the famous Bibbidi and Bobbidi! 🐑
Seoul is known for their quirky cafes and Thanks Nature Cafe is one of them! Stop by for a delicious milkshake, coffee or tea and the best waffles! I had a chocolate mint milkshake with a banana chocolate waffle. Once you’ve enjoyed your snack, you can head out to the sheep pen and meet the famous duo. They seemed to be in a bad mood the day we were there, butting heads. They were scolded by their “father” and soon were eating happily next to each other again 😂 It’s about a 10 min walk from Hongdae station and quite easily found from the street. The owner was so friendly and spoke perfect English. #southkorea #seoultravel #hongdae #seoulcafe

Rail Fun in Korea
The Gangchon Rail Park, built on the discontinued train line is the largest rail bike course in Korea. From the popular Gangchon Rail Park, visitors pedal on the 2/4-seater rail bike to enjoy breathtaking mountainous countryside and Bukhan River scenery, uniquely different in each season.
Tunnel Experience
Experience riding through different interesting and fun themed tunnels (disco, bubble, romance) of colourful lights and sounds along the course.
Gangchon Rail Bike Course
1. The rail bike departs from the Gimyujeong Rail Bike Station to Nanggu Village (6km, 40mins).
2. At Nanggu Village stop, visitors can take a refreshment (and toilet) break and immerse in the scenic view around.
3. From Nanggu Village stop, visitors will next board the Romance Train to Gangchon Rail Bike Station, 2.5km. There are enclosed, semi-enclosed and open-air sections on board the Romance Train, allowing passengers to enjoy the beautiful scenery alongside Bukhangang River.
4. From Gangchon Rail Bike Station, there is a free shuttle bus service about 5 mins walk away, departing 5-10 mins after getting off from the Romance Train to bring visitors back to departure station, Gimyujeong Rail Bike Station. There is a public toilet along the way to shuttle bus stop too.

Alpaca World, Korea
Alpaca World, a place where nature, animals and people are happy together, making it a worthy and fun day trip from Seoul, South Korea
One of the must-try at Alpaca World is walking with the lovely and tame alpacas! You can get close to the alpacas and touch their super-soft fur.
Alpaca food can be purchased at various conveniently-located vending machines. Interestingly, your palm will remain dry (not wet with their saliva) after the alpacas licked off their food from your hand. Try it!

Guilty taking a bite of the topped cream... ✨ And the taste of sucking in a little coffee is completely healing. It was an Einspanner that didn't feel greasy because it was sprinkled with a lot of cinnamon powder.
#strawberry latte
I ordered a strawberry latte with plenty of seasonal strawberries!
I was able to enjoy sweet strawberry milk by mixing milk and strawberry puree that glistened in the sunlight from the window! You can feel the freshness of the strawberry, so it's not too sweet 🍓 Recommended!
#carrot cake
It was a day when I wanted to eat a carrot cake topped with cute carrots. I think the walnuts are occasionally chewed on the sheet, bringing out the taste of the cheese cream even more savory🍰
Parking is also convenient, so I visit often as a meeting point😌
It's even better because it's been a while since I've been back.

⛰ Chosun Resort’s infinity pool with the sensibility of Mt.
#온수풀
I'm posting a picture of last year's savings
I'll upload some feeds from #parasparaseoul @paraspara_seoul that I went to last year, the only resort in Seoul with a mountain view!
The outdoor infinity pool is for members only, but I paid an extra fee at the time and enjoyed it as a general guest! Paraspara has three pools: an indoor pool, a ground product for children, and a members-only infinity pool. In the case of the infinity pool we used this time, the jacuzzi is right next to it, so you can enjoy the jacuzzi from the mountain view!
It was my visit in April at the time, It was only warm enough when taking pictures, so please refer to it before visiting!

Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919).
