began with the relocation of a Koshin Tower that stood at the crossroads of an old road, enshrining it as the local deity.
The shrine was named after this Koshin Tower, which was covered with a shelter.
The origin dates back to August 1895, when the shrine was established to celebrate the opening of the Higashimurayama train station, enshrining the deity of roads, Sarutahiko Okami.
Peeking into the shrine, you can see the magnificent Koshin Tower. Although the grounds are small, it is a charming shrine.
