Fun and interactive Museum
This was probably one of the best museum I’ve been to, a model for modern learning that is fun and interactive. Highly creative. Great facilities. The Museum consists of 3 parts including a permanent exhibition, rotating exhibition and creative learning activities. There is a lesser focus on traditional artefacts but more on modern unique memorabilia from Thailand’s culture. The show in room 3 was the best.
Museum Siam truly gives you the 360 insights and experience about Thailand. It is a thought-provoking place as well as you are encouraged to compare the difference between Thai stereotypes and their actualities. Expect to learn more about Thailand’s cuisine, religions, education and more. There is a cool giftshop you must also visit.
Address - Museum Siam, 4 Sanam Chai Rd, Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200
Getting there - MRT Sanam Chai Station
Opening hours - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / closed on Mondays
Entrance fee - 100฿

Lacol Bangkok
Where Luxury Meets the Sky
Imagine dining among the stars, with the breathtaking cityscape of Bangkok as your backdrop. This is what awaits you at Lacol Bangkok, a rooftop bar and restaurant that takes luxury to new heights.
## The Atmosphere
Lacol is a realm where opulence and elegance reign supreme. The decor is plush, the mood lighting is just right, and the view is simply out of this world. As dusk falls, the city lights twinkle like stars, creating a mesmerizing panorama that's guaranteed to leave you spellbound.
## The Food
The culinary journey at Lacol is nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. Each dish is a masterpiece of flavors, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. From the succulent steaks to the decadent desserts, every morsel is a delightful surprise, a testament to Lacol's commitment to culinary excellence.
## The Glass Bubble Room
The crown jewel of Lacol, however, is the Glass Bubble Room. This exclusive dining space is a transparent cocoon of luxury, offering unobstructed city views while providing an intimate dining experience. There's a minimum spend for this coveted spot and it's yours for just 3 hours, but trust me, it's worth every Baht.
## The Price Tag
Now, let's talk about the price. Yes, Lacol is a bit on the pricier side, especially by Thai standards. But remember, at Lacol, you're not just paying for a meal - you're investing in a unique, luxurious experience. The breathtaking view, the exquisite food, the impeccable service, and the unforgettable Glass Bubble Room - it all adds up to an evening of indulgence that's worth splurging on.
## The Verdict
ILacol Bangkok is a must-visit for anyone looking to treat themselves to an evening of lavish dining. It's popular, it's luxurious, and yes, it's a bit pricey - but it's worth every penny.

Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple
Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is one of my favourite temples in Bangkok. The entire compound is stunning, with a rich cultural heritage, remarkable architecture and tranquil atmosphere.
One of the highlights is the breathtaking pagoda which is the most stunning spot that I have experienced in Thailand. The ceiling and the pagoda will mesmerise you. Both are incredibly beautiful!
Also, the big Buddha at Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is incredible, it is one of the largest that I have seen so far.
If you are exploring Bangkok, Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen is a must-visit, it won’t disappoint you! Definitely it will give you a great escape from the bustling city.

The Platinum Fashion Mall 🛍️
The Platinum Fashion mall is a popular shopping center in Bangkok. It has more than one thousand shops and multiple floors. The mall offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and shoes.
If you are planning to buy there, bargaining is expected! Vendors will give you higher prices but most of them will be willing to negotiate, specially if you are buying multiple items.
I definitely recommend this mall for a shopping trip in Bangkok. Outside of the mall there is also a local market selling food, fruits and accessories which is great to explore and see.

Wat Arun Sunset @Eat Sight Story Deck
If you are looking for the best sunset spot in Bangkok, come to the East Bank of the Chao Phraya River. There are several nice spots to see the breathtaking sunset with the backdrop of the beautiful temple known as the Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun.
I chose Eat Sight Story Deck as the spot for me to see the sunset, and it was a good choice. The restaurant serves Thai Food with a modern twist and alcohol beverages. The dishes was beautifully presented, very good food, and the services are great with a reasonable price. It is value for money.
I highly recommend this place for the Wat Arun sunset view.

Bangkok Sky Restaurant
My Thai friend invite me to have lunch at Sky restaurant at Baiyoke Sky hotel. The food here are mostly Thai food and western food. Its a buffet style with coupons, so you need to exchange your coupon with the food you choose, and will deliver to your table. The food is ok, not fabulous but also not bad.
What I enjoyed the most is not the food but the spectacular scenery of Bangkok City and the beyond from the observation deck on level 84th floor.
You just need to stand there, no need to walk around because the floor revolves at 360 degrees.
There are additional props and backdrops of the local story for visitors to take the picture. Overall, its worth a visit.

Joddfairs Night Market
Joddfairs Night Market
As Bangkok reopened in April 2022, Joodfair was the only night market running when I was there in May 2022. Located at Rama 9 Road, this market is mostly visited by young local Thai.
In this night market, I feel the F&B tenants is more compared to fashion tenants. When you enter the market, on your left is an open space to see live band shows and open bars. Fashion is on your right, and mixed with F&B for the first two rows, while the middle block to the end mostly are F&B.
Its the best place to have your meal or dinner here, enjoy the night with the local crowd atmosphere, while shopping is not so exciting compared to the past. I hope to see more exciting night markets in the future, and looking forward in upcoming December trip.
Address: Rama IX Rd, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, Thailand
How to get here: MRT Stop at Phra Ram 9, exit at Gate 2

Rooftop Dinner @Sirocco Bangkok
I was having dinner at the well-known rooftop bar in Bangkok, Sirocco. I was in this bar in early May 2022, as Bangkok had just ease the travel restriction.
I revisited this bar few times in the past because I like the rooftop bar, and this bar was featured in Hollywood movie "Hangover" 2.
I start with pre-drink at the lounge area while waiting for the table to be ready. The dinner menu is a seafood platter with crab, oyster, prawn, calamari, crab meat, and caviar. The main course was the braised Maine lobster.
Everything was excellent as usual. My dinner was fantastic, the food and drink were great, and the services were fabulous. Of course, the ambiance of the rooftop bar made my dinner very memorable.
Guests can take pictures at the staircase area now, while in the past, it was prohibited.

The Marble Temple
Temples on temples is what you’ll find in the dazzling city of Bangkok. The thing that I have discovered while doing the touristy things is that each of them look unique.
Wat Benchambophit is known as “Marble Temple” because it was constructed from imported Italian marble. The thing that will catch your eye the most is the perfect symmetry and shape of the roof. It truly looks like a masterpiece.
If this temple wasn’t on your list, it 100% should be. This one isn’t as crowded as the more popular ones. Pay the 50฿ entrance fee and roam the grounds.
Getting There - Easy access via taxi or BTS/MRT
Food & Restaurants - Street food and snacks located on the temple grounds.

The Bustling Chinatown in Bangkok
There are Chinatowns all over the world. Each one is so unique to it’s geographical location. For the one in Bangkok, imagine walking down a street with loud street vendors, rowdy locals and tourists, and the sweet smell of various foods being deep fried.
The food choices here are practically endless. You can go with the classic dumplings and shumai. If you’re brave enough in the humidity, try some of the steam pots of stew. Or, keep it classic with Thai street food like sausage balls.
Either way in Chinatown, you can never go wrong and don’t have to break your travel budget.
Getting There - Wat Mangkon Station on MRT Blue Line
Attractions - Various Chinese temples
Hotels - Luk Hostel is a budget friendly option. You can get a dormitory or a private room.
Food & Restaurants - Mainly street food, but there are sit down establishments.
Shopping - There are street vendors and small markets in the alleys selling anything you could possibly need.

Take a scooter/bike taxi to avoid traffic
City Details - Bangkok is estimated to have a population of over 10 million people. With this amount of people in a city you will find traffic in peak hours. Early mornings, mid day and in the evenings. the traffic here is quite hectic sometimes and you can get sit in traffic for half an hour just to travel 5km.
How to travel with a bike - I have recently discovered that the Bolt app (Convenient app to book yourself a transport, similar to Uber) allows you to select a bike. I have decided to try it since I could see on the map the traffic is quite heavy. This is not the only way to book a bike in Bangkok you can stand next to the road and they will show up and ask you if you need a taxi. At some malls you will also see them standing they are easy to spot.
My experience- With this trip I traveled 4km and it took us 14min through the Traffic which was very convenient for me and I have thoroughly enjoyed this ride.
Avg. Price per Person - It depends on traffic and time of day/night and the demand but the average cost will be between 50-100 baht from 1 to 5km
Be safe - Please note I took my helmet of to make this video. These taxi do provide helmets for you. Please always be safe and where a helmet. If the taxi does not have a helmet go to the next one. #staysafe
