Walk up 166m in Awe of 20m Golden Buddha
As the cable car was not in operation and none of the locals could tell us where to get a bus or car up to the top of hill, and there was no rental bicycles available despite the cycle lanes, we decided to walk up.
The slopes were pretty steep at some parts. After 20mins, we reached a temple with the Four Face Buddha although the road sign showed “Brahma Statue”.
We saw the cable car mid-point station and saw a sign that it is not in operation. Asked a local how to get to the top and was told that it’s about 2km away. We pressed on as we saw local Uncles and Aunties hiking too. There were water coolers along the way to quench our thirst.
We spotted the golden standing Buddha another 20mins later, and took in the view of Hatyai city around us. After paying respects and walking around, we saw a green and yellow cute-looking mini-bus and realised that it was a shuttle service. We hopped on and stopped at Guan Yim Temple before heading down to the carpark near gate 1.
If only we found someone who could tell us about the shuttle bus. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable hike with the lovely weather! 😎

A day in Hongkong's Ocean Park
Ocean Park Hongkong is for all ages. It has everything from Animal exhibits with different themes such as a giant panda habitat, a rainforest area, and polar displays. It also has fun rides including four roller coasters.
It's open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays, and 10:00am to 7:00pm on weekends and public holidays. Redeeming ticket was super easy and the park offers hours of entertainment. It can become super hot during the day, so I advised yourself to stay hyderated. You can start by having lunch, then visit pandas, penguins, see dolphins show, sharks and stingrays from up close. Then take a cable car to the other side of the mountain to enjoy some crazy rides, try your luck in numerous games, watch dance shows and drink loads of beer with your litre refill.
Ocean Park Hongkong is very famous tourist spot in Hongkong. If you get tired of Disney, Ocean Park will be a good choice. The facilities are more suitable for children to play more mildly and not stimulate, and there are also facilities for adults who want to challenge the limits, so it is a very suitable for a family to enter the park ㄧ and enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Monkey island adventure
If you want to see monkeys, look no further!
A ticket to the island will set you back ¥147 which include ferry/cable car to and from the island, i suggest taking a cable car since the fairy is less than a 5 min drive. All other activities on the island are included in the price
As soon as you arrive on the island you will find monkeys everywhere. Just make sure not to carry anything in your hands because the monkeys are prone to grab and they do get aggressive.
It’s definitely a trip worth taking it you’re in the area. #monkeyisland #crazymonkeys #sanya #monkeycircus #monkeycomedyshow #cablecars #ferry
