#timetotravel My visit to the Ancient City of Pergamon in Turkey was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Perched atop a steep hill, the ruins of Pergamon offer a breathtaking panorama of history and nature. The Acropolis of Pergamon is a testament to the city's ancient glory. The grand theater, one of the steepest in the ancient world, left me speechless. Imagining the performances that once unfolded here was a vivid experience. The Altar of Zeus, now housed in Berlin's Pergamon Museum, once stood here, a symbol of Pergamon's artistic and cultural achievements. Wandering through the ancient streets, I marveled at the well-preserved remains of temples, libraries, and houses. The Asclepius Sanctuary, dedicated to the god of healing, was particularly impressive. Pergamon's rich history and its commanding position overlooking the plains make it a must-visit for history buffs and those seeking to immerse themselves in the grandeur of antiquity. #izmir #bergama #turkiye

During my last visiting to Turkey, I also been in İzmir. get lost in the lost city of Ephesus

this is an incredible ancient treasure located just outside the seaside town of Izmir turkey. well before the collapse of the ottoman empire this city was a port town city inhabited by the ancient Romans. Walk down the original streets thousands of years old as though you were walking in the streets of ancient Rome. You’ll be amazed by all the small theaters and large coliseums ocean pillars will tower above you with Roman design and spectacular Roman architecture. This trip is an entire day trip as leave yourself plenty of time to walk that almost 40 km of pathways, Corredor‘s and ancient paths. if you’re lucky enough to stay for the sunset I highly recommend you do. Transportation is easy as there is a train that arrives in the town straight from Izmir.  everything that you need to see is clearly marked in English if you’re traveling from the United States. beautiful resort town on the Agean sea

Cesme , in Turkish language (çeşme) reading ( Cheshme), is a beautiful and amazing resort town situated west of ' Izmir' city of Turkey. i travelled there after a few days staying in Izmir . from Izmir it takes 1 hour to arrive there by car. Cesme has amazing sandy beaches with clear water and dive sites. we walked beside the port watched cool modern boates. then we went to a beach there to swim . and after that had a delicious traditional food in a restaurant there. Cesme has hotels to stay with sea view .if you don't stay at hotel , you can go private beaches is called (Pelaj) and use their facilities for swimming and sunbathing with a little price . there are nice seaside restaurants to have food there. if you want you can travel to Greece from Cesme by ship. #beachlife #aegeansea #izmir #trip #tripmoments #travelinspiration #touristattractions

Izmir is a big and beautiful city of Turkey beside Aegean sea . its modern city . anyway it has old and modern places . i lived there for 8 months. Izmir has modern transport system . metro , tramvay , izban , bus and Ferry . for example you can go from airport to city center by izban easily. ride a ferry from a port of the city and go to another part of the city in 15 to 20 minutes and enjoy watching the sea and birds . one place that you should visit is old bazar in Konak region. there you can also have Turkish food. izmir has many modern shopping centers like 'Optimum' . Karshiaka district is nice place also to visit. if you rent a car , you can visit Cheshme and Alachati region , very beautiful places and there are beautiful beaches also. #izmir #staycation #turkey #travelinspiration #beachlife #trip #madewithtrip

Affordable and centrally located

The hotel is very well located near the central train station; it's a short 5 min walk away. To get to the other points of the city it's a good 40 min walk, albeit along the sea. Otherwise you can take the tram for 15 mins. The room is basic but very adequate and comfortable. Staff are friendly and eager to help. Also the windows open completely, which is always nice to have some fresh air! Overall, excellent value for money and highly recommend. #hotel #travel #explore #izmir #turkey

Very affordable convenience

The TAV airport hotel is located in the terminal at Izmir airport before security so it's especially great for those who have an early morning flight. The rooms are quite large, very adequate and the price is very affordable. The hotel's main attraction is that it is directly in the airport, meaning you won't have to worry about transport to the airport in the morning. The lobby area is also very large with many sofas to relax on. The rooms are quite large for an airport hotel and there's even a desk in the room. Another great thing about the room was that they all featured windows albeit of the street but it was still nice to have. On the flip side, you tended to hear the passing vehicles since you were so close to the street. The soundproofing between rooms was also an issue as you could hear the conversations of your neighbors. The hotel also serves breakfast for an extra charge so that's also nice, although I personally didn't opt for it. Overall, an excellent option for an early morning flight with a spacious and clean room and an outstanding location. #hotel #airport #izmir #turkey

Myths of the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus

This is one of those sights that if you have an interest in religious history, and if you KNOW what you are going to look at, then the experience is unforgetable and very meaningful, but if it's a tourist stop you are just doing because someone pointed it out while you were already on your trip and you thought it was a MUST SEE, then yes there are definitly more spectacular sights to see in Turkey than this compliation of rubble. I personally LOVED it because I have grown up hearing this religious story and to see the actual caves where this story evolved from was amazing.
