Cotton castle or Pamukkale
#freehotelstay
Reasons to Recommend: It’s absolutely unique place on Earth with its hot thermal waters and a huge area of an antic city of Hierapolis. The ruins sprawl over a large area and there is a large necropolis filled with sarcophagi. Pamukkale is a must place to see. Walking there you’ve got a feeling that you’re in heaven. You can also swim in thermal waters they are so good for skin. Lots of Korean and Japanese tourists around for this purpose. #pamukkale #turkey
Travertines in Turkey
If you're visiting Turkey, make sure you add Pammukale in your iterinary so as to not miss out the natural thermal pools. The picturesque white views may be mistaken with a snow but in reality it's the travertines generated out of natural hot water constantly flowing. The views are amazing and if you get to catch them at sunset or sunrise nothing like it! ... One of the best experiences of our trip to Turkey.

Pamukkale Travertines a unique side trip!
Next to the city of Denzil a 5-6 hour drive from Istanbul is Pamukkale. it is a quite town with not much going on but right next to it is a spectacular view.
The Pamukkale Travertines are a natural wonder located in Denizli Province, southwestern Turkey. The travertines are a series of terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water of the hot springs.
The hotsprings are at the top of the hillside at the southern end of the town of Pamukkale. They have been#turkeytravel#pamukkale#hotsprings used as a spa since the 2nd century BC. After hiking up the Travertines you can relax in the hotsprings.
It's a unique experience and is worth taking a side trip from Istanbul.
White lake and Salt Baths in the South
Pamukkale is one of the most visited spot in Southern Turkey because of its unique Thermal Salt baths. Salt and minerals compounded and created the white bed of salter baths across the area of Pamukkale. Its best to visit in Spring and Autumn they say, you can swim and dip in the baths though water are too shallow and even dries out in summer.

Pamukkale:Timeless Marvel of Nature & History
Immersed in the enchanting landscape of Pamukkale, Denizli, Turkey, where nature's artistry and ancient history converge in a mesmerizing dance. The travertine terraces, gracefully cascading down the hillside, create a visual spectacle like no other. As I walked barefoot on the warm, mineral-rich waters, the sensation was both invigorating and soothing, a harmonious blend of natural beauty and therapeutic serenity.
Amidst this geological wonder, the ancient city of Hierapolis stands proudly, echoing tales of civilizations past. The well-preserved ruins, from the monumental theater to the captivating Cleopatra's Pool, transport visitors to a bygone era. The juxtaposition of these ancient remnants against the ethereal backdrop of Pamukkale's terraces creates a truly unique and captivating experience.
Exploring Hierapolis, I marveled at the Necropolis, a vast city of the dead with ornate tomb facades, and the historical artifacts showcased in the Hierapolis Archaeology Museum. Each step unraveled the layers of history embedded in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The thermal waters, known for their healing properties, have drawn people for centuries. The opportunity to soak in the Antique Pool, also known as Cleopatra's Pool, added a touch of regality to the experience. Submerged in ancient columns, I felt a profound connection to the past, a therapeutic communion with history.
The modern town of Pamukkale complements this historical marvel, offering a warm welcome with local hospitality and vibrant markets. Sampling traditional Turkish cuisine was a delight, completing the sensory journey through this captivating region.
In essence, Pamukkale is more than a destination; it's a testament to the harmonious coexistence of natural wonders and human history. It invites you to witness the passage of time, where the whispers of ancient civilizations echo through the travertine terraces, creating an immersive and unforgettable journey. A visit here is not just a trip; it's a pilgrimage through time and nature's grandeur. #Pamukkale #Denizli #AncientWonders #TravelTurkey #NatureEscape #HistoricalJourney 🇹🇷#freehotelstay#freehotelstay #freehotelstay

Pamukale - beautiful unique views
Visiting Pamukale from Marmaris took us roughly 2 hours 30 minutes from Marmaris with car. We spent roughly 5-6 hours in Pamukale taking photos of the beautiful views that surround you and hopping into many of the natural hot pools which are rich in minerals and known for its healing properties. During the visit I learnt alot about the history of Pamukale and also the Greek connection with Pamukale such as the ruins of Hierapolis. They also have a museum available which was really interesting.#turkey #history #view #tourist #pamukkale #holiday
