🌾 Kampar, Perak – Refarm Half-Day Trip
#springitinerary
With just two days left before the end of Puasa, I quickly took the kids out for some fun! ☀️
Three years ago, while my husband was visiting a client nearby, I brought the two kids here on my own. Back then, there were quite a few animals to see 🐓, but now it's become more of a water play spot — luckily, that was exactly what we were looking for this time! 😄
They've added an indoor pool, which is great. On regular holidays, this place is usually packed, but thanks to the fasting month and school break, we practically had the whole place to ourselves — no traffic, no crowds. It felt so relaxing! 🏞️💧
The water is clean, and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Of course, it gets quite sunny outdoors, but the new indoor pool helps a lot. The water level is shallow, great for younger kids. However, the slide was a little too intense — super fast and strong! 😅
They’ve clearly put a sign: no kids under 12 years old or under 20kg. I tried it a few times and honestly, I felt old — it was kind of terrifying 😂
We played from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM! If it didn’t close at 6:00 PM, my two girls could’ve stayed till night 🌙
My kids are slow-paced — they can easily spend over an hour in a Mr. DIY store just looking at everything carefully. So for us, one location can easily fill an entire day (super chill, right? 😄)
Coincidentally, a senior from my school dorm days (we were roommates at Yuk Choy) was back in town with her husband. We arranged to meet at a local café for dinner. The last time we met was in Singapore — back then we were still single ladies. Now we’re both moms with two kids each! 😍
Too bad we didn’t manage to take a photo together — next time I’ll bring the kids to visit her in the fishing village 💕🎣
