Atmosphere: It is a viewpoint along the mountain ridge that separates the border of Thailand and Laos. There are many viewpoints such as Khao Khad, Hill 104, and many other points not far away that can see a 360-degree view. The highlight is Khao Khad between the cliffs. When walking through the gap, you will see the view of Laos.
The parking lot can be driven from the front of the tourist service center. The parking lot is spacious. There are tiger grasses. There are also bathrooms and shops, restaurants, souvenir shops in this area.

Stop by and try some fresh vegetables from Ruean Rom Farm 🥬🥗🥙
Rai Ruean Rom is a farm located in Chiang Rai. It is about an hour and a half drive from the city. The way up to the farm is quite difficult. It is red dirt with dust. The distance is about 5 kilometers. When I got there, I wondered if I was on the right path. Because the road is really gravel. But when I saw the vegetable plot and the roof of the house, I felt a little better.
This place is both a restaurant, a cafe and a place to stay. We went to eat only. The view from the restaurant is quite beautiful. You can see the mountains. There is nothing to block the view. The food here focuses on organic style. Almost everything is grown by themselves. The recommended menu is the vegetable and mushroom salad. It is really delicious.

Doi Pha Tang, even though the route is difficult, you must go at least once.
Doi Pha Tang, although the route is difficult, you must go at least once. I must say that it is one of the difficult routes. It requires quite a bit of driving skill because the route is quite steep. I don't recommend it when it's raining because the road will be very slippery.
Doi Pha is about 2 hours away from Chiang Rai city, plus or minus depending on traffic, the expertise of the driver, and road conditions.
Film recommends going in the winter early in the morning (at that time, Film left Chiang Rai at around 4 am) or if you want to stay overnight, you won't have to wake up early. The view from the top is very beautiful. It's so beautiful that it seems unreal 😆 You can take pictures from any angle. I recommend that you go at least once. 🫶🏻🩷

Accommodation for a few hundred baht, a view worth millions @Thoeng, Chiang Rai
🍀Rai Rom Pho Thong Resort is a resort on a hill and has houses on the slopes that climb up.
🍀In front of the breakfast area, there is a photo spot with a mountain view. We look out from the resort and see the mountains overlapping each other. The view is good. In winter, there is a sea of fog. The weather is cool and the atmosphere is great.
🍀You have to drive up the hill, which is the resort's yard. Park upstairs to unload your personal belongings from the car and drive down to park in the area below the resort.
💖For our part, we stayed in a room for 10 people+ at 400 baht per person, including breakfast. The bathroom has shampoo and shower gel. The price is very good compared to the view you get.

Phu Chi Fa, a tourist attraction in Chiang Rai
#VisitChiangRai
Phu Chi Fa, a famous tourist attraction in Chiang Rai Province. Phu Chi Fa is part of Doi Pha Mon, 25 kilometers from Doi Pha Tang. It is a beautiful place to watch the sea of mist and sunrise, along with a view of the mountains that are intricately wide like a painting. Tourists wake up since it is dark to walk up to the top of the mountain to wait for the sunrise.
The image of a high mountain with golden sunlight shining in the early morning, especially in the winter when there is magnificent white fog below, makes Phu Chi Fa a tourist attraction that attracts tourists, especially those who love hiking and nature. Once in a lifetime, they must come to see this beautiful and enchanting image. There are 2 popular places for tourists to visit: the first is at the top of the mountain and the second is at the wide area before reaching the top. Along the way up and down, we will see young people wearing traditional tribal costumes standing to welcome us all the way. Some of them even sing and dance. We can't help but smile when we see them.
Phu Chi Fa is in Thoeng District, Chiang Rai Province. Tourists who come to watch the beautiful sunrise can pitch a tent to stay overnight by contacting the Phu Chi Fa Forest Park Office or the Thoeng District Tourist Service Center. In addition, nearby there are many types of accommodation and resorts available at various prices. You can book directly with the accommodation.

Doi Pha Tang⛰️🌳
"Doi Pha Tang" is another beautiful mountain in Chiang Rai Province. The peak is located in the Luang Prabang mountain range, which is the point that separates Thailand and Laos. It is also a point where you can watch the sunrise and the sea of fog beautifully. ⛅ Anyone who comes here can set up a tent and wait to watch the sunrise amidst the thick sea of fog. In addition, around January-February, there are also blooming wild Himalayan cherry blossoms. I guarantee that anyone who comes here will definitely fall in love with Doi Pha Tang. 🌸🌈

A cafe that invites you to sit and look good and stylish. The highlight is the sign made of large brick blocks that invite people to stand and take pictures. There are also many corners, both a rock garden, a forest garden behind the shop, and inside the shop. There are drinks, snacks, and croissants to choose from. I have to tell you that the croissants are a bit expensive. The shop is in a gas station on Chiang Rai Thoeng Road, just before reaching Thoeng town. If you go this way, you must stop for coffee and take pictures.

Wat Phra That Chom Cho, worship Buddha and see the view of Thoeng District
Wat Hong Thong or Wat Klang Nam is located in Bang Pakong District in a mangrove forest area by the sea. There is a walkway connecting the temple on the coast to Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi Pricha Prabhakon Prachan Sonil Anusorn and the Ubosot in the sea. The chedi has 5 floors with paintings about Buddhism and Thai kings and enshrines various Buddha images. The top floor is a golden chedi containing the relics of the Arahants. You can see the beautiful view of the sea and the land from a high angle. The walkway stretches out into the sea to “Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi”. 1. Asakusa Temple is famous for its amulets and lucky charms. There are also many delicious food stalls along the way.
Sensoji Temple, or Asakusa Temple, is marked by a large red lantern inscribed with the Kanji characters Kaminari-Mon, meaning "Thunder Gate." This makes the temple easily recognizable to passersby and tourists. Because of its location in the Asakusa district, it's commonly known as Asakusa Temple.

Wat Phra That Chom Cho: A Sacred Landmark in Chiang Rai
Wat Phra That Chom Cho is one of the nine Chom stupas and serves as a significant spiritual landmark for Thoeng District, Chiang Rai Province.
The stupa features a Lanka-style design influenced by Lanna architecture. Situated atop a hill, it offers breathtaking panoramic views.
According to ancient scriptures written by a skilled Pali scholar from Mueang Thoeng (formerly known as Mueang Theng), it is said that during the time when the Buddha visited Suvarnabhumi, he rested under an Ashoka tree on a hill near the Ing River. A Naga serpent, upon realizing the Buddha's presence, approached him to pay homage and inquire about various matters. The Naga then presented three pieces of golden cloth and three pieces of crystal cloth to the Buddha. In return, the Buddha granted the Naga a sacred relic—a strand of his hair—by stroking his head. The Naga informed the local ruler, who then constructed a stupa on the hill to enshrine the hair relic. This stupa was later named Phra That Chom Cho. Every year, a ceremonial water-pouring ritual is held at Phra That Chom Cho on the full moon day of the 8th month in the Northern Thai calendar.
Location: Moo 20, Ban Wiang Chom Cho, Wiang Subdistrict, Thoeng District, Chiang Rai Province.
It is approximately 1 kilometer west of the Thoeng District Office.

Set your alarm for... Doi Pha Tang ⏰️
#ChiangRaiTrip
Doi Pha Tang is a little over 100 kilometers from Chiang Rai city. The road is winding and steep in places, so it takes about 2 hours or more to get there. If you want to see the first light of day, plan your time carefully. There are accommodations available in Ban Pha Tang; you can even stay overnight to avoid waking up too early.
The trail to the Pha Tang viewpoint includes stairs, steep inclines, and dirt paths. It's a fairly strenuous hike, so those planning to visit should be in reasonably good health. We conquered viewpoint 102. We arrived after dark, and by the time we reached it, the sun's rays were shining through the fog – it was beautiful!
🚗 There is ample parking. We've left the location coordinates in the comments.
⏰️ We recommend starting the hike around 5:30 AM to wait for the first light of day.
ℹ️ Wear comfortable shoes and sneakers.
