The staff here are lovely, very good service, good smiles, polite, and attentive to every point. I don't know what to criticize because everything is good. For our Koh Chang trip, we planned to stay in Trat for one night before crossing over to the island. This was to avoid exhausting travel and long queues for the ferry. We chose to stay at: 📍 Location: Trat Tara Boutique Hotel The accommodation is very affordable and suitable for two people. Although the hotel seems small, it’s actually quite spacious. The place is very clean, and there’s ample parking. We arrived around midnight, and the staff provides 24-hour service, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel since we left Bangkok at 6 PM. ✨ We stayed in a villa-style room, which was incredibly spacious at 50 sqm—very large compared to the price. · Separate bedroom · Living room · Kitchen area · Balcony for relaxing ❌ No breakfast included We left the hotel at 6 AM and reached Ao Thammachat Pier around 6:30 AM, just in time for the first ferry. We were the last car to board, so we were lucky to avoid any queues. If you’re looking for a convenient and less tiring way to travel, try leaving Bangkok early in the evening. It’s very hassle-free.

You have to bring your own food. There aren't many photo spots, but they are beautiful. ❌🐵 Caution: Monkeys! They are quite fierce. If you bring snacks, you should be extra careful. Be careful with openable bags. Always look at your belongings, or you might get searched. You might need to be a good driver, because the road to Koh Ngam is a bit rough.
