📍Hoshifuru Village TENGU Address: 4921-22 Yoshino-Otsu, Tsuno-cho, Takaoka-gun, Kochi Prefecture 💰: Approximately 15,000 yen/person (2 meals included) I stayed at "Hoshifuru Village TENGU," located at an altitude of approximately 1,400m on the Shikoku Karst Tengu Plateau ✨ This accommodation is located on the border of Kochi and Ehime prefectures and offers one of the best stargazing experiences in Japan. In addition to the magnificent starry sky unique to this clear plateau, it also features a planetarium and observatory that can be enjoyed even on cloudy days, allowing you to experience the wonders of the universe regardless of the season. As you can see from the photos, unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day I stayed... On clear days, you can apparently see the starry sky with guidance from the hotel staff ☺️ (I wish I could have seen it...). However, there's also an observation deck with panoramic views of the plateau, a large public bath, and a restaurant using local ingredients, so I was able to spend a relaxing time surrounded by nature ✨ If you're lucky, a fantastic sea of ​​clouds may spread out in the morning, making it a recommended spot for those who want to enjoy both the starry sky and the spectacular scenery.

At "Dagenman Orchard" in Dagenman Village, they've set up a projector on the top-floor rooftop courtyard of a traditional white Tibetan house to broadcast the matches. Surrounded by apple and pear orchards, this spot offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire village's Mani stone towers and the terraced rooflines of the white Tibetan homes. When I watched the Brazil game here, a local farmer handed me a freshly picked apple and said, "Apples are picked exactly on time in the fall. In football, timing is everything, too." I highly recommend this place because you get to experience the harvest season of a Tibetan farmhouse perfectly syncing with the timing of the World Cup. It’s the most down-to-earth and intimate viewing experience. It's just a 10-minute walk or taxi ride from Xiangcheng county town. You can also stay overnight at a local guesthouse in the village.

They are designed to prevent the bridge from sinking underwater in the event of a major flood, to reduce water resistance, to prevent trees and other objects from getting caught on the railings and impairing the flow of water, and to prevent further flooding of the river. We walked along the river from upstream, but there were places where you could park and places where you couldn't, and in a few places we just looked out the car window.
