I went to Nanairo no Mugi in Tsuru, Yamanashi Prefecture! The exterior was so stylish I couldn't resist it! When I went inside, there were rows of delicious-looking breads! The store was small, but they had a wide variety of breads! The prices were reasonable, so I ended up buying a lot. It was very delicious. I went to Omata Handmade Udon in Tsuru City! It was crowded with local customers! The noodles were chewy and delicious! I was impressed by how long each noodle was. 5km east of the center of Tsuru City, in the mountains, there is also a natural hot spring called "Basho Tsukimachi no Yu". 7 minutes walk from Tanimura Station on the Fujikyuko Line. Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is home to many shrines, but this time I went to Kanayama Shrine. Beyond the impressive torii gate were several steps of stones made from lava. It only took 1-2 minutes to climb up. At the top of the steps, the shrine and a large cedar tree stood majestically. When I closed my eyes, I could hear the birds and insects chirping, which was very soothing. The townscape was also very old-fashioned and it was pleasant to walk around! Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. This is the waterfall that Matsuo Basho wrote about in his poem "The icicles are powerful, and the fish floats down the falls." Tahara Falls. It was even better than I imagined! There was also a stone statue of Matsuo Basho, and it was wonderful to see him wearing a mask. A temple surrounded by beautiful spring water and the soothing sound of flowing water. Immediately opposite the temple grounds is a spring-fed pond selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Waters of the Heisei Era. Every year from late May to late July, these spring-fed ponds are filled with blooming water crowfoot. This flower is said to grow only in clear streams, and its small white blossoms that bloom on the water's surface resemble plum blossoms, hence the name "water crowfoot." There is also the Yakushi Eye-Washing Water, which has a legend that during the Edo period, the daughter of Lord Torii Tosa-no-kami, the lord of the Tanimura domain, who suffered from an eye disease, was cured after washing her eyes with it during a visit to the temple. The golf courses in Japan are truly amazing and cheaper than in Taiwan. The greens are in excellent condition, and the fairways are very comfortable. The only downside is that if you don't have a caddie, you have to get used to carrying your own clubs. The food is also delicious. They take cooking seriously, which is fantastic. I played at three courses this time: New Nanso Golf, Kurabu Golf, Chuo Tsuru Country Club, and Zozo Championship's Queen course. All of them were surprisingly great.

I visited the café Hanasakajiisan located in Yamanashi Prefecture! The recommended items here are the French toast and parfait! There are so many varieties that you'll have a hard time choosing. The French toast is fluffy, filling, yet easy to finish in one go. The drinks menu is stylish and delicious as well. The fruit tea was absolutely exquisite!! Next door, there's a flower shop and a general store! Visiting them together can be quite enjoyable! Why not give it a try?

The opening of the Shinagawa-Nagoya section, originally scheduled for 2027, has been delayed, so you may be wondering when you'll be able to see the linear train! If you head to Yamanashi, you can see another 500km of linear trains. Otsuki Station in eastern Yamanashi Prefecture can be reached from Tokyo Station by local train without changing trains, and from there it's about a 15-minute bus ride to the Yamanashi Prefectural Linear Exhibition Center, where you can get up close and personal with the linear motor car running on the Yamanashi Linear Test Line. This is a parking area on the Chuo Expressway Fujiyoshida Line heading towards Yamanashi Prefecture. It's a small parking area, but it has a terrace where you can have a light meal and a small plaza where pets can relax. Once you pass this point, you'll see one spectacular view of Mt. Fuji after another. Mt. Fuji covered in snow in winter was a spectacular sight! You can see the magnificent Mt.
