It looks like a large eel, but its skin is slimy and it is difficult to cook, so it is a rare fish that is not widely available✨ The bones are removed like conger eel. I recommend the family sushi restaurant [Japanese-style restaurant Bungo Sushi], which is full of fish from the Bungo Nada Sea. It comes with sashimi, tempura, simmered dishes, boiled dishes, and even a rice bowl, so it's a "Resuke" full course⭐️ It was a huge portion and only 2,200 yen✨ It was a luxurious lunchtime. ✳︎Natural Hot Springs Yunosato Yakushi no Yu✳︎ I stayed here for one night with dinner and breakfast included when I went cycling to Usuki City. The location was close to the Usuki Stone Buddhas. We shared a room for three people. There were two rooms and it was very spacious. We were given two single beds and a futon, and it was very comfortable to sleep in. We used the family bath at night and the large bath in the morning at the hot springs, which were very good. The food was very luxurious and delicious. A relaxing girls' trip to Oita. First, we enjoyed some leisurely shopping in Yufuin. It's a charming town lined with cute shops and cafes, where just strolling around boosts your spirits. For the night, we treated ourselves to a luxurious stay at the Grand Mercure Beppu Bay Resort & Spa in Beppu. The best part was savoring great food and drinks while unwinding without a care in the world about time. The next day, we headed to the Beppu Jigoku Meguri (Hells of Beppu). Unfortunately, it rained, but the rising steam and damp air actually created a magical atmosphere, letting us discover a unique beauty you wouldn't see on a sunny day. I passed through Saiki that morning, so I strolled around without doing any research. The coastline seems to be a shipbuilding town, with cool floating ships, a three-story pagoda that you can see without going to Kyoto, and the castle's interesting exterior, a testament to Christian culture. I'd heard the sushi was delicious, so I tried some without any expectations, and found it to be quite tasty and fresh. The sea urchin was also of a high quality. When I came to Oita, I wanted to visit new places around the area. So I carefully selected Usuki Port. Usuki Station is 10 stops from Oita Station on the JR Kyushu local train opposite Beppu. I bought a local train ticket for 760 yen as a traveler who had been to Usuki before after reading a Naver blog said, but the station attendant said I would have to wait for more than an hour. So I got help from the station attendant and paid 750 yen more (total 1,510 yen) and got on the express train right away. This was my first time paying two tickets. If it weren't for the information on the blog, I would have asked the station attendant and bought the express train ticket for 1,510 yen from the beginning. Anyway, the express train stopped twice and arrived at Usuki Station. When you exit Usuki Station, you will immediately see a Buddha statue. It is a place with a strong Buddhist culture.
