A vacation to Jogja never gets old. There’s just so much to explore. Am I right? 😊 This time, I want to share my 3-day, 2-night itinerary from my recent trip to Jogja. Hopefully, this can serve as a little cheat sheet for anyone struggling to put together their own travel plans! By the way, FYI, I stayed in the Sleman area. 1️⃣ Day One We just grabbed breakfast at the hotel. Our first stop was Stonehenge Merapi. From there, we went to have some fun exploring Studio Alam Gamplong. After all that walking around, we were definitely hungry, and it was the perfect time for lunch. Since it was nearby, we decided to eat at Kopi Klotok. You can't really do a quick meal here because it’s always packed, but it’s totally worth it! Plus, the sightseeing around the area is great. After lunch, we headed to Tebing Breksi and hung out there until the late afternoon. Right before sunset, we made our way to Candi Ijo to catch the gorgeous views 😍. Then, it was back to the hotel. 2️⃣ Day Two Breakfast was at Saoto Bathok Mbah Katro. This spot is super close to Candi Sambisari, so it would be a shame not to stop by. I mean, we were already in the neighborhood, right? 😊 Next, we took a drive to Hutan Pinus Mangunan. Once we had our fill of taking photos and soaking in the pine forest vibes, we headed over to Pinus Pengger. Honestly, it has pretty much the same feel, but it was still a lot of fun. The weather started to drizzle while we were at Pinus Pengger, so we went on a hunt for some warm food. Sego Godog Pak Pethel hit the spot perfectly—it’s the ultimate comfort food for chilly weather. After eating, we headed straight back to the hotel. 3️⃣ Final Day We had breakfast at the hotel and checked out. Since it was still early, we went straight to Situs Warungboto. From there, we moved on to Geoforest Watu Payung Turunan. For lunch, we hit up Warung Kopi Panggang. The food was so good—they serve those classic, rustic village-style dishes. The atmosphere was really cozy, too. After lunch, we headed down to Malioboro to stroll around and shop for souvenirs while waiting for our train. From Malioboro, it was just a quick walk over to the station! 😄 And that wrapped up our 3D2N trip in the truly special city of Jogja 😍😍. South Shore Jogja is one of the tourist destinations in Gunungkidul, south of the city of Jogja, which offers a million charms that are not easy to forget. Approximately 1,5-2 hours from the Jogja City Center, Mesra Beach has an impressive view and attractions. From my personal opinion this beach is one of the best Beach in Wonosari, you can treasure the beach through traditional wooden bridge that can bring you another experience and another angle of the beach.. The beach already equipped with good infrastructure, there has food stall where you can find some options of food with the reasonable price (noodle, fried rice, spicy chicken, etc), public toilet is comfy enough and clean, also they have safety guard.. Luweng Sampang waterfall is one of the enchanting natural attractions in Jogja. There are many beauties and interesting things that can be enjoyed and are rarely found in other similar natural tourist sites. One of its uniqueness is the view. The cliffs are shaped like neat hill scrapes. In addition, the waterfall has a different flow and shape compared to other waterfalls. Both the cliff and the shape of the waterfall have their own process of formation and origin. The origin of the naming Luweng Sampang can be seen from the shape of the waterfall. The flow of water forms a hole which in the local language is called luweng. While Sampang is the place where this waterfall is located. Regarding the shape of the cliff, according to several tourists who have visited this location, this cliff is shaped similar to the Antalope Canyon spot in Arizona, United States. Because they are both in the form of regular scraping from the top to the bottom. It could be that some other visitors have a different opinion. But still, this part of the cliff is unique. The erosion is formed due to water erosion. In addition, the rocks are also not like many rocks that are often found. The rocks in some areas of Gunung Kidul are indeed rocky and almost like rocks. This area is located on the southern coast which is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. So that the unique atmosphere of the ocean so affects the nature around the location. At the base of the waterfall there is a small pool that can be used as a water play vehicle. Uniquely, this pool has at least two colors. Namely brown and turquoise blue. I think this is the best beach environment in Gunungkidul. There are some religion that live in this neighborhood, such as Islam, Hindu and Kejawen. Located in Kaniogoro Village, Saptosari Sub-district, this beach has praying places for the religion I mentioned. So, it seems like it is a religion recreation for the visitors who come to this place. One kind of the job for the local people is seaweed seeker. It is not about seaweed, but lobster, starfish and sea-urchin are also  sold to the visitors by the local. Along the way, I was surrounded by lush greenery and occasional glimpses of the dramatic landscape that made me even more excited to reach the top. It's economical, you can see lots of destinations, and it's definitely fun! Oh yeah, I went with four friends, renting a car with a driver included. So we just sat back and relaxed, and they took us to these places. Since we were with friends, the car rental was also more economical 😉 1. Taman Sari It's best to go to Taman Sari in the morning, not on weekends. The goal is to avoid the crowds. If it's too crowded, it's a bit less fun, especially for those who want to take great photos. So, try to get there by 9:00. Oh yeah, the entrance fee is only 15,000 Rupiah per person. 2. Warungboto Site This site is similar to Taman Sari. Entry is free. You only have to pay for parking. 3. Mangunan Pine Forest There are a lot of tourist destinations in the Mangunan area of ​​Dlingo. The concept is more or less the same: a pine forest with platforms of various shapes to enjoy the view from above. You can choose whichever one appeals to you most. Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, is home to a myriad of absolutely stunning white-sand beaches. Even though it's quite a drive—about 2 hours from the city—the beaches here are totally worth the trip. Here are some moments I managed to capture at the beaches of Gunungkidul. Slide 1: Located at Sedahan Beach. Access is currently not possible for four-wheeled vehicles. The beach is still quite secluded and very clean. Slide 2: The view of Parangtritis Beach from Langse Cave. This is a Gunungkidul beach that sits right on the border with Bantul. If you want to see the beauty of Parangtritis Beach, you'll need to trek for about 30 minutes along a pretty steep shoreline (please be careful!). Slides 3 & 4: Pengilon Hill & Banyunibo Beach. From this hill, you can overlook the beaches of Gunungkidul from above. It's incredibly gorgeous—the rolling green hills combined with the vast blue sea are a true feast for the eyes. Slide 5: And this is Kesirat Beach, the absolute best spot for sunset hunting. The access is quite easy since you can get there by car, and it's also a bit closer to the city.

One of the best sunset spots in Gunungkidul! The vibe is very similar to a beach club in Bali, as you can see the open ocean from the clifftop. The place is clean and well-equipped, with a cafe and accommodations available. Tip: Come around 4 p.m. to avoid the heat and catch the golden hour. Oh, and be prepared to get some exercise, as the area is quite steep, but the views are well worth the effort!
