Exploring Seattle's Retro Cafes
Hidden in the secluded Yakima area near Seattle is a cafe that feels like stepping back in time ☕️ – NorthTown Coffeehouse!
This place was originally a century-old train station 🚉, now transformed into a super atmospheric retro cafe~
🌟 An Art Space Where Time and Space Intertwine
You'll be amazed the moment you open the door! Relief columns stand in a charmingly staggered arrangement, and the old photo wall quietly tells the story of bygone years 📸.
Vintage chandeliers cast dappled light, and sunlight streams in through the high windows, making the whole space seem filtered with nostalgia ✨
☕️ A Must-Visit Specialty Coffee on Your Travels
A heavenly spot discovered on your way to cherry picking! Sipping a fragrant hand-drip coffee in the renovated waiting hall, watching the sunlight dance on the mosaic floor 💃.
The old brick walls of the train station and the modern coffee machines create a wonderful contrast, making every snapshot an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. 📸
🚗 Three-day, two-night itinerary recommendations:
[Day 1️⃣] Artistic Yakima Stroll
✔️ Visit NorthTown Coffeehouse
✔️ Stroll through the town's art district looking for graffiti walls
[Day 2️⃣] Orchard Fun Day
✔️ Seasonal fruit picking in Yakima Valley (cherries 🍒/apples 🍎 vary with the season)
✔️ Buy fresh jam at the farm market
[Day 3️⃣] Snow Mountain Pilgrimage
✔️ Hiking in Rainier National Park (highly recommend the Paradise Trail)
✔️ Encounter a rainbow at the snow mountain viewpoint 🌈
This cafe, converted from an old train station, perfectly preserves the warmth of history 🌡️ while infusing it with new vitality! Next time you're traveling around Seattle, don't miss this magical time capsule-like space~

Seattle|Get a bucket of blueberries for $20, pick and eat freely, so full!
🌟$20 per bucket.
You really just get a bucket, no weighing, packed full for $20. Our bucket roughly weighed about 10 pounds. Half a bucket is also available for $10.
Some details:
✔️ Everyone is asked to wash their hands before entering the farm.
✔️ Picking buckets are provided at no extra charge.
✔️ The buckets are very clean, and there is a special place to put dirty buckets.
✔️ After picking, they provide plastic bags for packing at no charge.
The whole farm is kept very tidy, not the messy kind of U-Pick.
The owner is very nice and encourages us to pick and eat as much as we want, no time limit. So we kept tasting along the way, fully immersed and very full. Not exaggerating, it basically solved lunch…
There are three varieties in order upon entry:
🫐 Duke
🫐 Draper
🫐 Legacy
My personal favorite is Legacy! The sweetest and the best-looking bushes (by the end, I was seriously considering: should I plant one at home too…😂)
Next to the blueberry field is a small garden.
This year is the first time they opened Flower U-Pick, and the flowers are blooming beautifully🌸.
There are also a few clean benches to sit, rest, and take photos.
The whole atmosphere is very comfortable and healing.

nice quiet and affordable
I've been here for about a week and a half now unfortunately lost everything in the house fire but this place has been more than a culminating and understanding sometimes it takes a little bit longer for me to get payment through to #staycations them but they're always kind and caring they never rush me unless I absolutely have to be which is never this place I would recommend anybody some would say it's in a bad part of town but I would say that that's everywhere you go you just have to choose to look the other way all in all I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice quiet place to sit and think
this place use to be nice and homey...now there's homeless people roaming threw there all hours of the night ....drug pharphenella left in rooms...house keepets don't do their job...and the maintenance guy Brian is a total creep

an amazing thing to wake up to in the morning.. the fridge always keeps my milk and burritos nice and cool. Love being here!! Everyone is so nice and they are super fast about fixing anything you have wrong. They always make sure you have a smile on your face everyday. #staycation #skiadventure Also this hotel does not have cockroaches like most of the hotels around do. Another thing Is that the beds are super comfy and the ac works amazing. Thank you Ramada. I have been here for 7 days and they are always on top of giving me the best for me being here for so long. Another thing is the breakfast is so amazing every morning freshly made by scratch.
