Comfort Inn South - Springfield

Room 409 faces away from the busy road, which was nice. Lots of security cameras around outside, which made us feel good. The bed was good, the sink is right in the entrance, with a faucet that's way too small for the sink, which was not in very good shape. The bathroom (shower and toilet) had a very loud combined light and fan (not suitable for night light). The A/C was good and quiet. I had to go to the front desk for a hair dryer. Normal breakfast with lousy plastic flatware and the cheapest jellies (grape and mixed). Ice and vending machines are on floors 2 and 3

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was clean. Bed was very comfortable, especially their pillows. They allow pets so next time we may even travel with our pup :). They have a pool. It looked fun and clean, but we didn’t swim. For breakfast I had a bagel and cream cheese with coffee. My husband had biscuits n gravy, sausage links, and coffee. It was very tasty. They also offered cereal, toast, muffins, juice, I’m not even sure what else. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The checkin CSR, Sandy, was so pleasant and welcoming. Very friendly & appreciative. The lobby and breakfast area was very clean. Guest room was VERY clean. Location is very convenient to access city venues. No elevator for second floor rooms, but they were very happy to accommodate with a first floor room. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my stay. I felt appreciated as a guest.
Best Western Coach House

We travel through the U.S. frequently and this Best Western is wonderful! Clean, up-to-date rooms, and under $100 per room for two rooms with double queens. The mirror area outside the bathroom had 6 outlets total—pleasant surprise when you are used to sharing a double outlet! We didn't eat breakfast as we were doing brunch at another location, but we stopped to fill our travel mugs—breakfast area was clean and well-stocked.
Best Western Plus Springfield Airport Inn

This airport hotel had free breakfast, which was the draw for us. The whole hotel seemed a bit dark. The floors of the room was hard wood-like composite, and it felt sort of dirty on my feet. The gym was simple, opens at 7am so the neighboring room wouldn't be awakened. Seems a little late to open the gym at that time. I asked about it when I was down there at 630am, and they let me in since there wasn't anyone in the neighboring room. The breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. They even had a pancake printer! The breakfast attendant was very chatty about being anti-masking, which was interesting. There were good parts to the stay and some less so. There are limited airport hotel options around here.
