TheForkUserSchmidt's restaurant in Hellerau is a must for every foody in Dresden! Ever since we moved here in 2003, we return to this place and enjoy great food at a VERY reasonable price. Yesterday we chose the 5-course surprise menu, which gives you a pretty good impression of the kitchen's variations. Coming with a price tag of only 48 Euros, this 5-course meal is a really great value. Go there and you won't be disappointed, promise! Also the service was very attentive, effective, and nice. The room was a little chilly for us, thus not a perfect 10, but 9.5+ overall rating and a high recommendation!

TheForkUserAt the time we were there, there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant, possibly because we had dinner there on December 23rd, 2023 and it was raining heavily. It's a shame, the restaurant deserved more guests that evening! The service was very attentive and the dishes all tasted excellent. We will be happy to visit this restaurant again on our next stay in Dresden. Great view of Dresden.

TheForkUserWe were looking for a steakhouse in Dresden and discovered the Meatery and we’re not disappointed. There were four in our party and decided to share a Tomahawk Steak that was amazing, everyone was able to have steak the way the liked I’d from medium to medium rare, cooked & seasoned just right, we really enjoyed the presentation of the platter and side dishes. The staff helped pair it with an incredible bottle of Italian Red wine and the evening only got better. I look forward to the next time we visit Dresden and have the opportunity to visit again.

Coco WangThis las tapas is in the alley near the Frauenkirche in the old town of Dresden. We went there in May, which is a perfect time to drink beer and chat on the street. The seafood rice is super delicious! There is a large portion, lots of seafood, and it is very fresh. The shrimp and squid are very tender. There are a lot of salmon, and the meat is still very tender. It is very good! The signature rabbit leg and steak are also good, and the potato wedges are super crispy. I love this restaurant so much that I can't help myself~ I just forgot to order the Spanish fruit wine Sangria, which is a bit regrettable.

TheForkUserThe location, food, ambiance, and service are absolutely top-notch. We can 100% recommend the restaurant and hotel, as well as the beautiful region. Anyone who hasn't been here is definitely missing out. We also recommend a walk through the Pillnitz vineyards, located right next to the castle.

TheForkUserA gem in the heart of the city. Ask for additional wine offers. They are happy to fulfill any extra wishes and requests. Great French style, always reserve / they are busy for a good reason. Cannot wait to try them again after the renovation.

shui36I traveled to Europe for more than 10 days and had the best Chinese food, buffet and ordering. When I arrived that day, there were many tour groups, which may also be the designated restaurants of the tour groups. I heard that the owner is an old master who has been engaged in catering for more than 40 years , and still cook their own dishes in the kitchen, no wonder the dishes can stay so good
