There is such a city in Germany. You may not be familiar with her name, but you must know her deeds. She is the hometown of Engels, the city that invented "aspirin", and has the world's earliest and longest suspended train, with a total length of more than 13 kilometers; it is also the birthplace of Germany's textile industry, Wuppertal. This is the hometown of Engels. The mayor called Engels "the great son of the city." 2020 will also usher in the 200th anniversary of Engels' birth. The suspended train built in 1901 is an indispensable means of transportation in Wuppertal. 85,000 passengers shuttle back and forth in the air every day, and now the route of the suspended train also connects a classic tourist route Attractions 1 Louis area Most of the buildings here were left in the early 1914th century, and they still retain their classical style. On both sides of the road, there are many restaurants, bars and boutique buyers' shops. In Louis Square (Luisenplatz), you can find many cafes. Choose from - and quietly enjoy the beauty of your own afternoon 2 Heide Museum The Heide Museum is one of the most prestigious and important art institutions in the world. The museum has collected many paintings and sculptures from the 16th century to the present, including Picasso, Cézanne, Monet, Gauguin, Degas, Munch, Spitzweg, Toulouse-Lautrec, etc. Address: Turmhof 8 3 Bayernburg Baienburg is the most primitive village in Wuppertal. The history of the church in the village can even be traced back to the 14th century. In front of the village is a mirror-like lake. Just strolling between the tall trees on both sides, the afternoon sunshine is particularly gentle, as if every breath of air is telling her history, and no one wants to break this tranquility. Food 1 Brauhaus Brauhaus is a typical German beer house. A 400 ml glass of beer @ is about 3 euros. In addition to the signature beer, the German pork trotters in the store at 15 euros are also not to be missed. 2. Lise. Das Esszimmer Lise is a relatively petite coffee shop in the area. The coffee beans in the shop are all from the local Kivamo roasting factory, which is mellow and rich. The shop owners are a group of young people who love organic ingredients #The scenery here is as beautiful as a picture #Secret places in the city #Places you want to go again #Secret places around the city #Non-nearby places that even locals don't know

Clean, warm restaurant-not stuffy though which was great. The mojitos and sangrias are really good- I do wish they did sangria by the jug as is traditional way of serving it and we wouldn’t drank more, and spent more.Fair prices and lots to choose from. The food was exceptional- I can’t find any faults. The servers were welcoming and attentive. I believe it was the owner or the manager, came to our table at the end and made sure we were happy with everything. Such a lovely hidden gem in Köln! I think how clean the bathrooms are in restaurants speaks to how clean the rest of the restaurant is and the bathroom was very well kept and clean. I will definitely be back next time I visit cologne, Thank you for the great food and drinks and for looking after us so well!

Haxenhaus zum Rheingarten. Next to the Cologne Cathedral, in a house built in the 18th century, eat German pork knuckles roasted using a recipe handed down from 1321. In one word, delicious! Frankenwerft 19, 50667 Köln Altstadt/Nord

We were welcomed warmly, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was lovely. Though there had been plenty of seating times to choose from, the restaurant was packed when we left. I got the sense that many were regulars. Definitely recommend!

A very surprising gastronomic experience. The service is really good, all the staff is very friendly. The food is exceptional, and the quality and flavor are really surprising. The wine selection is very good, and the price is also good for what is offered. The atmosphere is cozy, but in my view, it needs renovation and modernization, the furniture is a little worn already. But in general, it is really worth going to this restaurant.

First time visited this place and also took advantage of the accumulated yamls. (minus 50 euros from the final bill). We enjoyed both service and the food! The homemade drinks were nice but a bit too sweet to our taste. Dishes all very delicious, nicely prepared. The final - one of the best Vietnamese coffee we have ever had. Will definitely visit once again.

The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant is stylishly decorates. As it was Friday we had the choice of a 4 or 5 course menu. I chose 2 starters, a main course and desert. The ravioli with truffles were very good. As a main course I had the veal, which was really tender and simply devine. We will definitely come again.

Super extra service. Grilled meat excellent but pizza with some strange sauce which made the eating unpleasant. The ambience quiet and spacious.

When you come to the ancient city of Cologne, in addition to the Cologne Cathedral, you must also visit this century-old coffee shop. The gorgeous and elegant indoor dining seats make people feel extremely comfortable. The various desserts and cakes in the glass cabinet are super eye-catching. The cantaloupe pie with very solid ingredients is very consistent with the pragmatic spirit of the Germans. Every bite is filled with solid fruit fillings. Although it lacks the romantic and delicate French desserts, you can feel the warmth of handmade food.

The restaurant was beautiful and staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu does leave much to be desired and there weren’t many options for my husband who was a vegetarian. However the food that we did get tasted good
