I decided to order sashimi + Hida beef. The sashimi set is 1,000 yen, which is really worth it. It is served with Akita specialty silver rice, pickles, hand-ground tofu, and rich miso soup, which satisfies your taste buds and makes you feel comfortable. The Hida beef fresh bamboo shoots baked is a seasonal speciality, only 880 yen. Four slices of red and white marbled fat beef, paired with matsutake and bamboo shoots, nestled on a large piece of dead leaves. It gets full marks just for the creativity.
